Beautiful location for relaxing vacation

Lovely condo and property. Bedrooms and baths are a tad smaller than they appear in the photos but the amazing views in the rest of the condo made up for it! Condo was great, beds were comfortable, kitchen was really well stocked and the fact that the property provided lounge chairs and umbrellas was an added bonus. We had a great time!

Great condo on a lovely beach

Our stay at Longboat Key was the escape we needed and this condo was a great place for us to stay. The restaurant suggestion list was greatly appreciated. Next time I will bring a small drying rack as the washers and dryers, though free, are located by the office, not in the condo.

Great property

Such a great unit. Wonderful space - clean , excellent bathrooms/towels, kitchen utensils. One amazing detail which really impressed us. We brought a deflated soccer ball with us to kick around and the unit even Had a ball pump with needles. It was a great service as we thought we'd have to run to a store. We loved it there and of course views are amazing at sunset and really all day. Thanks!

We researched the area a little and it seemed like a good fit for our family of 4. Once we arrived, the view from unit 302 was amazing! We could not have been more pleased with the direct view of the gulf and beach area. The beds and bathrooms were good and comfortable. We had enough kitchen supplies to make what we needed to. I would recommend that the dishwasher get updated as we had a few dishes that didn't look to be fully cleaned. The resort as a hole was friendly, welcoming and guests were kind. Very impressive experience here and we'd recommend it to others.

Unfortunate

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, the cleanliness of our unit this year was not where it should have been. I travelled with two children a 4 years old and a 8 week old. My 4 year olds feet were extremely dirty from the floors in the unit. Bathrooms had grime that could be removed built up around the faucets, and the kitchen had a bad bug issue. We had ants everywhere, including in items that needed to be sanitary for our baby. We also had a large cockroach that showed up. Was hoping that was just a fluke considering it’s Florida but just did not make me feel any less stressed about my family staying there. I wiped down the countertops with a Lysol wipe and it did help which just proved how poorly the kitchen was cleaned. I will say, I did not approach management with this issue. I figured the only thing they would do is spray and I did not want to have the chemicals sprayed while we were staying with a newborn. They are usually so lovely but this just was a general cleanliness issue. We stayed in the same unit 2 years in a row and were just so disappointed and stressed about cleanliness this year. Just did not feel up to the Sand Cay standard.

The property is ideal with located on the beach, shuffleboard, pickleball/tennis/basketball, plus the heated pool. We hardly needed to leave besides to get food. We hope to be back next year!!!

Sand Cay

When we first arrived the air conditioning was not working, however, the office staff had someone out within the hour to fix it. The unit was nice and the view was breathtaking. I would definitely stay in this unit again. The only bad is there is no washer and dryer in the unit but there is an on sight laundry facility that is free to use and no one messes with your laundry.

It has recent updates in both bathrooms (beautifully done) and flooring in the main living/ dining area. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook our meals. The grounds at Sand Cay are gorgeous and well maintained. The staff was friendly, however we didn't need anything from them except to check in and check out. We hated to leave!
