« Before Salt Hotel and Pub opened or reopened(?) we only thought of Ilwaco as a fishing stop. Now for us it’s a destination! Great food and drinks at the pub, cozy comfy rooms, minutes from Long Beach and Astoria. Highly recommend! »

« Incredibly cozy and enchanting. The front desk clerk was friendly and inviting. When you enter the building, you are surrounded by warm rich woods, stained glass, and Edison bulbs that cast a low amber light. The Historic Queen room I stayed in was delightfully minimal, but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room opens up to a private balcony with a little bistro table. I recommend sleeping with the window open to feel the beach air and listen to the ocean. »

« This place is very conveniently located and pristine. They seemed to think of everything. The room is very dark and quiet. It has great amenities and modern charging and bathing options despite everything else being gorgeous antiques. The hosts were spectacular and breakfast was amazing. They even took our dietary restrictions in mind without being boring or bland. »
