« We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. « This is a cool house; the family agrees. It was built in 1912, reminded me of the movie Sunset Boulevard so old and it show it in places. Part of the charm. One reviewer noted a musty smell. « My sister and I enjoyed this house very much. The first day was extremely stormy so we felt fortunate to have such a relaxing and cozy place to hang out. Very clean and nicely furnished. We loved the fireplace. The beds weren't the most comfortable we have had but were fine. I struggled a bit with the lock but staff was very accessible to help. It was a great location to get to a lot of different places. Do yourself a favor and walk out the back gate to check out Sadie and Josie's Bakery. Truly...

« My friend was visiting from Maryland and we found this spot to be absolutely perfect. Close to Long Beach and close to Cape Disappointment the location could not be beat. We loved our time in the rental and were so glad to have the fireplace as our first night there was extra chilly. The cozy vibe was magical and we would love to rent again in the future. »
