The main road is busy and cosmopolitan, lined with restaurants, cafés and grocery stores open late, while the streets immediately behind it open into Connaught Village — quiet, residential, and full of independent shops and places to eat.

Cross Oxford Street and you are in Mayfair, home to Bond Street, the Royal Academy, and some of London`s best-known restaurants and galleries. It is a 10-minute walk from the front door, close enough to spend an afternoon there on foot, without staying in the middle of it.

Guest Access

Guests have full private access to the entire apartment, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas. The only shared spaces are the building`s communal staircase and lift.

Self check-in is available via key collection from a 24-hour shop nearby, allowing flexible arrival times at any hour. Full instructions are sent before arrival. The building includes lift access, and there are no internal stairs within the apartment.

We are available throughout your stay if you need anything, and equally happy to leave you to it.

Additional Notes

Street noise: The apartment faces a central London street. Double-glazed windows throughout significantly reduce noise levels and most guests sleep without issue. Bedroom 1 is set back from the street and experiences no road noise. Bedroom 2 is street-facing and benefits from secondary glazing for additional sound reduction. Occasional emergency vehicle noise may still be heard.

Lift access: The apartment is on the 4th floor with lift access. Please note there are 6 steps to reach the lift from the building entrance.

Parking: An underground car park is located a 2-minute walk away at £35 per day. This is not included in the nightly rate.

Sofa bed: The living room sofa bed is a comfortable double, best suited to adults or older children.

Communal areas: Communal building areas are clean and maintained but slightly dated compared to the apartment itself.

Heating and hot water: These are managed by the building and are very reliable, though rare short maintenance interruptions may occasionally occur and are typically resolved the same day.

Smoking: Not permitted inside the apartment. The rear fire exit is accessible from the kitchen door.

UK plug sockets: UK plug sockets have built-in safety shutters that automatically cover the holes when not in use, so no plastic covers are needed. This is standard across the UK and completely child-safe.

Surveillance: For security, there is a Ring doorbell camera outside the front door covering the entrance only. There are no cameras inside the property.

Maximum occupancy: 7 guests. Strictly enforced.

Checkout instructions are sent on the morning of your departure. There are no chores to do.
