« This is a gem of an inn, located just a stone’s throw from the castle walls. The woman who runs it is a delight; friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and well stocked with teas and coffees and the like. The food - both dinner and breakfast - were excellent. It’s an older building so expect occasionally creaking floors (although they are carpeted) and low ceilings, but that just adds to the charm. Highly recommended if you can spend a night in Harlech. »

« Stayed in the pet friendly Cabanas, modern with everything you need for a weekend stay. The restaurant is excellent however do book in advance as it gets very busy and check your bill to ensure the deposit has been removed. We didn’t realise until the day after , it was rectified when we highlighted the mistake. All the Colleagues who work at Aberdunant are very friendly and professional. The only thing missing would be a little on site shop selling essentials, news and mags, ice cream etc. You...

« We really enjoyed our stay - very friendly welcome, room was great- clean, and lovely to hear the sea while we lay in bed. Breakfasts delicious. We would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who is looking for somewhere to say in Criccieth! »

« Very doggy friendly hotel. Friendly staff. Made our dog very welcome. Comfy bed. Room was clean. Lovely location. Food was nice but not cheap. Quality over quantity so this pushed the bill up as we had pudding too. »

« Borthwen b&b is a fantastic place to stay. Colin and Lisa were such kind and caring hosts and nothing was too much trouble. It was my partners birthday and they even put a birthday candle on his breakfast, he was thrilled to bits! The b&b was spotless, quiet and very comfortable, and the view from there is spectacular. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was probably the best I've ever had and they were able to provide me a vegetarian option which was much appreciated....

« Room especially the toilet was huge and comfortable. They also gave very large towels which was great. Only gitch as the housekeepinb fell short on the last day - the bins werent emptied and the floor towel was not replaced. »

« Large spacious room finished to a high standard & clean. Plenty of tea, coffee & milk. Bed was large & comfortable. Good central location for shops & restaurants & less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. Recommend this hotel & we would definitely go back. »

« Hotel très bien placé pour visiter la région du Snowdenia et la péninsule de Llyn. Bar et restaurant soignés et rénovés, très accueillant.Restauration de qualité. Par contre les chambres ne sont pas à la hauteur des 4 étoiles affichées à l'accueil ! 170 euros avec petit dejeuner par nuit pour avoir une chambre très petite et une SDE très miniscule ! »

« Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons... »

« We arrived at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the team were busy and to be expected. We were then attended to within a few minutes. Polite and friendly and shown to our room. It was a building near the pub. Parking was free and able to park outside the pub. Its all situated in a square,like a market square surrounded by big granite hills.
