« We absolutely loved our stay here, the cottage is old and many would say requires modernisation but we felt it all added to its character and charm. The beds were comfy as were the sofas and the kitchen was fully supplied with everything you could need.
The grounds were fantastic and we had many games of football, rounders and hide and seek with a group of 4 children under 10. We spent every evening outdoors and made the most of the hot tub and the bbq. The views from the garden are also...

« the location was ideal for us, the house was lovely and big enough for 9 of us and a small dog, it was warm and cosy, had everything you need in the kitchen, the downstairs wet room needs some attention the toilet leaks ,there is a constant bad smell from the wet room. the downstairs bed room was very dusty and full of cobwebs which we had to vac up before we could use it not the not most comfortable bed we slept on could do with mattress topper.

« Good value but the whole house could do with a thorough deep clean and a review of condition of fixing and fixtures plus updating. It would also be good to ensure there are suitable kitchen pans and tools as would be expected for a house that houses 10 occupants.
As well as a deep clean, it would be nice that someone ensured all cutlery and plates were in a clean state prior to being occupied as we had to wash everything before use.
Despite this we had an excellent short stay. »

« House is tired and could do with some renovation.Only central heating in lounge therefore kitchen and dining room too cold to use. Upstairs shower unusable as water cold. No handrail on stairs for elderly parents.Scaffolding outside house. No outside lighting. No signage to house/concealed entrance. »

« We had an excellent week in Garden Cottage,the location was perfect.The grounds and surrounding woodland provided our dog with the perfect playground.Really comfortable cottage,isolated but with excellent WiFi,Smart TV etc.The only slight criticism is the cooking utensils could do with a bit of an upgrade.However this didnât spoil what was a brilliant holiday.
