"A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting. Comfortable, clean, cozy. On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing. Breakfast was an epic adventure. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for. The lady who waited on us was very friendly and, at our request, talked about the region and how to get to our next destination. I'd like to thank her for all her kindness. I was a little sad to hear the owner, I presume, telling her off for spending so much time talking. We really think this personal touch by staff is what distinguishes a good guest house like 'Llwyn Onn' from bland uninteresting hotels. Please don t discourage your staff from being so welcoming."

"Bien placé pour découvrir les sites avec un grand parking. Par contre la literie avec des matelas à ressorts et des lits pour deux assez étroits, par rapport à ce qui se fait pour ce prix, ce n'est pas acceptable. On a signalé qu'on avait mal dormi quand on nous a demandé si tout allait bien, sans plus de considération. Pour dîner, prévoir 2h de service. L'espace piscine est vieillissant."
