« The property was very comfortable, and we couldn't fault anything, apart from the lack of coasters to put drinks on. It would have been nice to open the bathroom fanlight, but it might not be possible to do so. The location was excellent for us as we wanted something to challenge us and the steep hills were certainly that. It was lovely quiet and relaxing. »

« The cottage was a real home from home, very clean and had everything we needed. It has some nice personal touches and the best info book we have seen. We have never stayed anywhere that provided all the kitchenware, utensils and foil, clingfilm, kitchen roll, toilet roll etc. so that was a nice surprise. Plenty of plates, glasses etc. Definitely not the bare minimum you sometimes find. The pantry had salt, pepper, oil etc. Tea, coffee and sugar was provided. It was a nice touch to find some...

« Unfortunately we didn't meet the host but we were very impressed by the amount of thought that he/she has put in to make it a very welcome apartment for summer visitors. Just about every possible requirement has been catered for, and with very good quality furnishings, facilities & fittings. Thank you. Could do with a coat rack in the hall, but that's a minor niggle. It is a very spacious apartment, lovely for summer holidays but not so easy to heat in winter. »

« A very clean and comfortable cottage, small, but with everything needed. Also on a very quiet road, so no noise at all. A very short walk into the main town/pier with no big hills to climb at all, so excellent if somebody is not too mobile. Very dog friendly, with treats, blankets and nice size enclosed garden. The welcome gift was lovely and the mini toiletries in the bathroom were a very nice touch. We would highly recommend a stay at Lavender Terrace. Ruth, the owner, should be very proud! »
