« The Ann Stevens House was a short stay. We went to the Daytona 500 about 26 miles away. It was quaint with antiques placed in our 2nd story room. The mattress was rather hard, but not horrible. There was of plenty of parking and the room was very clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the stairs, that looked rather new, were rough cut, unsanded and unfinished. My husband got a pretty large splinter from the banister. »

« Room directly next to the bar, literally could have put the bed in the bar and it would have made no difference. Don’t go there if you want ANY sleep. The last person didn’t leave the bar area until midnight so we weren’t able to get any sleep until then. « Overall, it was clean. Bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen were fine. There was a small puddle on floor in one of the rooms. A windowsill in the common area had a dead mosquito. Front porch furniture wasn’t clean. Didn’t meet a staff member until ready to leave. Extra supplies were provided upon request. »

« Great stay at this hotel. Very clean and brand new. Bed very comfortable. Great breakfast too. The only negative point is the constant noise in the bedroom. You cannot stop the AC at night and we're not used to it so it was a real bother for us. »

« We just needed an affordable and clean safe place to sleep and this checked the boxes. The staff were very helpful and it had what we needed. A few quirks for being an older hotel, (had to turn on the light switch for the bathroom before you could get in and close the door in the middle of the night, and there's a hole in the wall in the bathroom where the door knob hits it) but worked great for us and we were happy to use this place. Loved that the mattresses were NOT memory foam! Thank you!...
