« Fully equipped kitchen with coffee and creamer in the morning. There were two of us staying there and we had plenty of room to spread out and make ourselves at home. Farm fresh eggs were amazing, we personally didn’t have to purchase anything extra for breakfast! We were given very detailed instructions for getting to the town, beach, and Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. The Whale Watch octagonal room was like time capsule from the 70s with big comfy couches around a central fireplace and lots of activities. Miren the owner and manager is super helpful, accommodating, and a a great resource about the history of the property. Definitely a fun and memorable experience! »

« Queen's Loft was a nice surprise! I expected a small second-story loft, but it was quite large with a kitchenette, nice roomy bathroom, dining area, living area and 2 king beds (and 2 twin bed that we didn't use), and lots of windows that we opened at night to let the cool, piney-scented air in. What I loved the most was how quiet it was there. Going to sleep breathing piney-scented cool air in complete silence was wonderful....best rest I've had in a long time! »

"The room is very old, with a broken floor and toilet. There is no soundproofing at all—you can hear cars and trucks all night long without stopping. The light outside is extremely bright, so even with the curtains closed, the room stays very well lit at night. It’s really cheap, but you definitely get the night that comes with the price."
