I booked and paid for a room with two queen beds, but on arrival I was told that room “wasn’t ready” and was offered a completely different room with only one bed instead. When I went back to the front desk to get this fixed, they moved me again but put me in a room with two double beds, not the two queens I reserved and paid for. On top of the bait‑and‑switch on room type, the bathroom had dried urine on the toilet seat on arrival, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a Hampton property. The staff I spoke with did not seem to care about either the cleanliness issue or the fact that I did not receive the room type I reserved, and there was no meaningful follow‑up or apology. Overall, I did not get what I paid for, the room was not properly cleaned, and the lack of concern from staff means I would not choose this Hampton Inn again.
