« The room itself was decent, but the overall stay was very disappointing. The bathroom was outdated and it had visible mold on the grout. Most alarming were the cockroaches crawling on the furniture. There was constant noise right outside of our door - a dog was barking in the room next to us all night and people were coming and going at all hours. Also the power went out around 9:30 and was off for 2 hours. I would not stay here again. »

« Room was very clean. I will stay at an Avid hotel whenever possible. The staff was nice but couldn’t help with the WiFi. Breakfast was good. »

« The room was dirty. Mold in bathroom on ceiling. Exhaust fan broken in bathroom. Room was very humid after shower due to no exhaust fan. Found trash on shelf in closet. Window looked like had dried dead bug on it. »

« Peaceful and tranquil. Like traveling back in time when hotels weren’t high rise buildings. The trails and views are amazing. Comfy beds, clean. We stayed in Sassafras. Only thing missing in the room was maybe a dresser to put some folded clothes in. »

« Traveled with newborn and the ac was out. No technician on site and would have to travel from another town. Couldn’t stay in the room and all rooms were booked. Would not recommend. »
