« The strong points are that it’s very calm/ quiet and in the middle of a large nice garden where you can already see a bunch of animals. No restaurant / breakfast on site but you have a few options nearby (walking distance) or you can take the car. Also the kitchen are well equipped if you to cook yourself something (incl a blender which is nice for pina/ mango smoothie :) »

« The whole area is just wonderful! The house was so beautiful. All the extra touches like hand painted tiles throughout, an extensive library of local creatures that may be seen and even a spotting scope. This is Costa Rica, so be aware that when you find a house gecko in the house it brings you good luck. We were very lucky! We loved it. « La vue est a couper le souffle et la maison est tres bien équipée. Nous etions 3 familles de 11 personnes et l'espace était largement suffisant. Nous recommandons! »

« Belle villa moderne avec lits confortables. Par contre, il y avait énormément d'insectes dans la villa car la porte principale ne ferme pas étanchement. Tous les insectes passent facilement sous la porte et nous avons dû mettre une serviette pour bloquer ce trou. Au Costa Rica, c'est normal d'avoir des insectes mais là, c'était vraiment intense! Les planchers étaient sals et n'avaient pas été lavés. Je ne retournerais pas à cet endroit. »

Comme l’endroit est près du lac et du sol, bcp de petits moustiques sont présents. Bref, nous recommandons l’endroit. »

« Wonderful cosy cottage deep in Monteverde. The drive from St Elena is worth it! There are lots of bugs at night but it is manageable. So many birds! So serene! Comfy beds. Yummy welcome food. Carlos was super kind and attentive, and took care of our needs (extra chair, longer clothing line for hanging our clothes). »

« Great spot to land and really get away from the majority of tourists. Local restaurants are cheaper, people are happier and it is not that far to all things Arenal. The house was great and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. Only thing is there is just one gate code, doors take a bit to get used to lock and unlock and house is 4th one on the left. But those are just minor things. »
