« Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding. The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish! Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. »

« Only the main house is usable, the shed (a separate room with a double and bunk beds) smells like a subtropical forest has grown inside. The main house it's okay for the price, nothing fancy, good for three people, washroom kitchen and two rooms. The TV needs and upgrade, they have a 25 years old 20 inches LG Tv (probably the first smart tv ever) apps wont work anymore, even youtube is almost unusable ( the 5mbps wifi conection wont help as well). Overall won't stay there for more than a couple...

« The cabin was exactly what we needed for a restful getaway. Very well kept, and comfortable. We read in the Muskoka chairs out front, had a couple of bonfires. There was no place to swim, but went out in the kayaks a couple of times. The lake is beautiful and quiet. The neighbours are quiet and friendly. We went for a walk through the woods beside the property. The host was so accommodating. We would definitely visit again »

« We had a great experience overall, and the host was excellent to deal with. However, I do want to mention that the dock shown in the listing is no longer the dock that’s there.The current dock is a narrow, single-runway style dock that isn’t wide enough to place chairs side by side or comfortably spend time relaxing on. It’s much better suited for getting in and out of the water or onto a boat than for lounging or gathering.It didn’t ruin our stay, but I do think the listing photos should be...
