My home during Lima’s winter months, shared seasonally with guests. Steps from the ocean, it’s a peaceful place where mornings feel fresh and evenings slow and warm. Walk to the Malecón, Larcomar, cafés and some of Lima’s best restaurants, then return to quiet and privacy. At night, the illuminated church bell tower adds a magical touch. I call it Surfsoul House because it reflects a simple, grounded way of living, inspired by the ocean — where time slows down and presence matters.

This beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment offers an unbeatable combination of location, beauty, and comfort. More than simply a place to stay, we hope it becomes part of your Lima experience.

Enjoy magnificent Pacific views and glorious sunsets from your own balcony, or walk just 50 meters to the Malecón to experience them even closer.

You’ll be steps from the luxurious Miraflores Park Hotel and Larcomar, dramatically perched above the Pacific, with fine restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, and entertainment all within easy walking distance.

Stroll through the beautiful oceanfront parks, explore the beaches, and discover Lima’s celebrated cuisine. At the end of the day, return to a delightful, comfortable space with lovely views, a fully equipped kitchen, a TV in every room, and deluxe mattresses for a wonderful night’s sleep.

Hosting is a family tradition for us. My mother, Maria Elena, who is the primary host, have welcomed guests for many years as a Superhost, Ambassador, and Guest Favorite host at most of the coastal cities of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. My family operated one of the first corporate housing business in Miami. We are delighted to continue that tradition here.

And if you would like to experience Lima beyond the usual tourist attractions, our family can help with that too. My son, Stefano Messinas, offers surfing experiences along the Miraflores coast as well as trips to some of the best surf beaches of Peru’s North Coast.

We are also happy to recommend bicycle tours with Gonzalo Escalante, who can take you on a guided ride along the spectacular coastline and through some of the most beautiful areas of Miraflores and Barranco.
