An oceanfront hideaway on Kauai's Eastside Royal Coconut Coast, located between Lihue and Kapaa, the Kaha Lani Resort is on a white sandy beach with lush tropical grounds. Featuring one, two and three bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens, free Wi-Fi and parking, as well as access to barbecue areas, a tennis court, and a large oceanfront heated swimming pool.

Perfect location for a true oceanfront condo. Sleep to the sound of the waves at night, rent bikes or walk along the beach. Beautiful sunrises seen from the comfort of the master bed.

It did take us one night to get used to no A/C with the humidity, but the fans in the place are powerful and kept us cool. We had everything we needed to make breakfast and lunch, and we ate out for dinner. There are 2 coolers, some beach chairs, boogie boards. If you nice a smell, its likely the chairs. Im sure most people use them then leave them in the car trunk where they get warm while still wet. So hose them off and air outside after using! We saw whales from the lanai. The beach is not at all busy, its a 2 second walk off the patio. Most times we were the only ones out there on the beach. The place is better than it looks in the pictures! The couch was very comfortable, as were the beds. We loved to watch the sunrise each morning, and feel the breeze when we were in the living room or on the lanai. The sound of the waves was always so peaceful. We went end of February/beg of March for reference. I highly reccomend this place if you can get by without a/c. Not sure how it is in summer, but i think the rest of the year you're fine. It is about 45-60 min to north or west side activities. There seem to be lots to do nearby, but we went to all the big sites and activities since was our first time to this island. I would stay again

This property was centrally located to explore both North and South Kauai. Quiet well maintained resort. The ground floor unit is perfectly located to capture the ocean view and hear the rolling surf as you drift off to sleep. Kitchen is well equipped with new fridge and newer dish washer. Beds were comfortable and clean linens and towels. Plastic shower curtain is moldy and should be replaced and did see 2 cockroaches there during our stay which I think is fairly common in this climate. Pool was warm but still refreshing and we enjoyed walking down to Lydgate Park and into Kapaa. We would definitely stay here again! mahalo!

Pros: morning views of sunrises, all day excellent views of ocean, sidewalk trail to the both and east all along the ocean available just beyond the back lawn/hedge, family friendly beach within walking distance. Con: sewage treatment plant to the north emitted a most unpleasant odour in the evening several times during our stay. A local said it will be getting worse.

Watching the sun peak over the ocean horizon in mornings over breakfast while also enjoying the view of the ocean waves... was idyllic. It's quiet and peaceful but close to Kapaa. Wish we had started here longer.

Beautiful ocean view. Kitchen lacking good supplies. Both Sliding doors had to have a stick to lock as lock didn't work. Dresser in 2nd room needs repair and updated. Some painting needed.

Wonderful beachfront condo. Furnishings and decor are a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. Easy access to Lydgate Beach. Ocean breeze is great, only downfall is there aren’t windows on the backside of the unit to allow for a cross breeze, (not a complaint, just an observation). We will definitely be renting this unit in the future if it’s available.

We really enjoyed the location of this property. It is right in between Lihue and Kapa'a, and made it easy to get to restaurants and purchase supplies, and a quick trip to and from the airport. It also was pretty much central so touring the island was easy. There is really no restaurants within walking distance, so you will have to drive pretty much everywhere. (BTW, parking is ample and very close to the property). We took my elderly parents, and they appreciated the nice walkway in front of the condo, which they used for the morning walks. It is far enough away so you do not feel like people are in your space. And it's a very close walk to Lydgate Beach, which is an ideal beach for swimming (if you have young children, this would be a great place as Lydgate is protected and very calm). The condo is older and a bit tight. We let my parents have the primary bedroom/bathroom and that worked just fine for them, but the other bedroom/bath was a bit small for me. It would probably be just fine for kids. Because it is older, I think they did their best with cleaning, but there were a few spots that were either missed or just not able to seem clean anymore. I have high standards for cleanliness, and I still felt like the property was clean enough. The grounds are well maintained and very nice, and we very much enjoyed the pool area. Be aware that there is no air conditioning, and you mostly do not need it if you keep the windows open. However, the roosters are fairly noisy (starting well before dawn), so keep that in mind if that would bother you. Overall we were very pleased with the unit and would recommend it to most people.

We had a really nice stay at this condo. The grounds are beautiful, the condo well equipped, and the condo is surrounded by a park which has a nice swimming area for the kids. I didn’t realize the condo does not have air conditioning when I booked it, and the first day was somewhat rough for me since I run hot, but my body adjusted and I ended up enjoying all the fresh air flowing through the condo. The condo did provide an extra fan to help with this. The location is also close to some good places to eat, such as Kountry Kitchen for breakfast, or Lava Lava for dinner. If I was returning to Kauai in the future, I’d happily stay here again.
