« Julia’s property at Ligar Bay is fantastic. While we didn’t have the best weather over our 3 day stay the place was a great haven for us to cook at home and have some wine with the wood burning fire or watching a movie. We were able dip in the sea at the bottom of the road and it’s just a quick drive to great walks like Wainui Falls! We also drove an hour to the other side of Abel Tasman to boat in Kaiteriteri - beautiful spot! Overall a great stay at Golden Bay! »

« Very comfortable sleep and peaceful interior with exposed wood rafters. Lock box for the key made check in simple. Awoke to beautiful birdsong. Host was very pleasant and responsive. Would definitely stay again. »

« This lovely home was just perfect. Cosy and inviting right by the beach and grateful we could enjoy this with our dog. The views from the master just so relaxing and blissful to listen to the waves at night, and watch the sun rise. Birdlife galore, sweet garden and everything you could need, or a cafe just a five min bike ride away. Not flashy, but luxury in all the good ways! Thank you! »

« We had a wonderful stay at this special spot in Golden Bay. The views of the estuary and bay were absolutely stunning, with ever-changing light and beauty throughout the day. The location is perfect—close to Collingwood and Farewell Spit, yet peaceful and secluded. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the shower was one of the best we've experienced.A highlight was listening to Ruru calling at night and watching a lightning storm move across the bay after dark—an unforgettable experience....
