« This is a great property, and I would have given it 5 stars is the valet situation wasn’t as absurd as it was. The entire front parking lot is reserved for valet only leaving only a few parking spots on the side of the hotel and street parking. During our stay, only 2 or 3 people utilized valet for their stay. Perhaps it was busier when the restaurant was open. Hotel patrons should not have to park down the street. Compass is nice, but it’s not the Ritz - it’s more like an upscale Holiday...

« We had a room with kitchen and with balcony with beach view. Room was brand new. All renovated and kitchen equipment all new. Everything very clean. Appreciated the beach right aside and the fact that it was not too crowdy. Personnel very kind and professional. »

« The room appeared clean at first but there was hair and dust on phone, furniture and bathroom. There was no functioning air conditioning and it was hot and miserable. They said they had no rooms to transfer us to and brought us a fan. The refrigerator didn’t work. the ice bucket leaked all over the dresser and our belongings and some of the towels were stained. The toilet handle was cracked and the alarm clock was a falling apart. None of us slept and my daughter and I had mild breathing...
