« Norbu the hotel GM was excellent. He personally made sure that the stay was comfortable and any of our needs were addressed. « The resort is a perfect getaway for city dwellers. The resort nestles amidst the majestic middle Himalayas in the village of Saboo. The location is about 10km (15 minutes drive on a normal day) from the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche airport The cottages are well appointed, with lovely views from the verandah. There is a quaint little bridge with a water stream underneath too. The staff is very friendly and go out of the way to be helpful to guests. We needed our breakfast ready 30 minutes before time...

« The food was fantastic. Zagmo and the kitchen staff turned out excellent food. The India food was much better than any Indian Restaurant we know on Vancouver Island, and the kitchen staff was able to make excellent Western style breakfasts when we wanted them. All of the staff were great, from the front desk to the porters. Even if I were to stay in a less expensive hotel in Hunder, I would definitely come to this hotel just for the meals! »
