Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. « From easy parking, ease of checkin, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed. Hot drink making facilities and a nice addition of water in the mini fridge, access to a dining area downstairs with microwave, hot drink facilities and a toaster was all you needed. The price reflects the absence of breakfast supplied and to be honest, we preferred this option. Great value for money. We will be back! »

« This was the second time that I have stayed here. The hotel is well worn - don't expect a new out-of-the-box chain hotel - but the staff are excellent and the view is superb. To sit at breakfast and look out over the bay cannot be matched by hotels in Lancaster or on the motorway. It's not much more than 15 minutes by car from the M6, parking is free and the sea is just over the road. »
