« We loved our stay at Walden Retreats. Becky checked us in and was so welcoming and informative of our tent and things to do while we were there. I was worried that the tent would be warm in the first of August, but we kept the shades down during the day and the fans on. « What a beautiful and unique stay!! We love horses and my 11 year old daughter enjoyed petting them. It was also really neat at night when sitting on the porch in the dark with the fire and string of porch lights. « Wonderful place! We loved the fun and funky vibe of the property and the decor, and found the yurt to be comfortable, well-supplied with everything needed in the kitchenette, and conveniently located for our nearby adventures. The hanging candles were an unexpected treat! »

« Very cute cozy cabin in the woods. No bathroom facility in the cabin so be prepared to use compostable toilet about 40 feet away. It’s like a step down from glamping. I loved the animals on the property and there are some decent hikes there as well. Great location and close to Old Rag! »
