It has been a few years since we stayed at this location, and it is still our favorite place to visit. We love this house and treat it as if it was our own home. We will be back again! Ann is great to work with. She is very responsive! I couldn’t as for anything better!

Beautiful and comfortable home, great location

We just got back from an amazing week at the shore. This house was perfect for our needs, very comfortable living and felt like home. Short walk to the beach and all of our favorite Lavallette restaurants! Beautiful back yard and view of the bay. Owner was extremely nice and accommodating with quick response when we had a question about the TV/remotes. We wish we could be back there!

Beautiful gem by the beach

After driving ten hours, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The home was quaint, beautiful, comfortable, clean, and exactly as advertised. We had no issues gaining access to the property and Ann was quick to response if/when I sent her a message. It was located in a perfect location to all my husband and I wanted to do, walking distance to several eateries, and the beach. This was one of our easiest stays! We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again.

Great property and location

Ann was a great host and very receptive. The property is clean, walk to the beach and a short beach bike ride to town. The main bedroom mattress was great and having TV's in all the rooms was a nice feature. It wasn’t the end of the world but the property can use some updating with newer appliances and outdoor grill. We had a great stay.

Amazing House for a Shore Getaway

After doing a ton of research into potential rentals down the shore, we went with a his absolute gem in Lavallette. The house was charming and comfortable and impeccably maintained and we felt right at home as soon as we checked in. The location could not be beat either. You are a block from both the bay and the ocean and are within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants in downtown Lavallette. We had an amazing time and enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Clean, Comfortable Beach Home

Sad family business in the area brought me to search out a place to stay locally. Once that was complete I actually asked the host to stay on four more nights because the house was so clean, the neighborhood friendly, the accommodations comfortable and the sea air very healing. Would definitely recommend. Location is everything.

Much needed vacation

Ann was an amazing virtual host. Place is lovely, had all necessary amenities minus the bedding, and the location was quietly in the middle of all venues including the beach/Bay. We enjoyed our stay very much. It's the perfect place to stay and enjoy away from home. Thank you

Cozy relaxing vacation

Overall good experience. Cute place for couple or few guests. Nice yard and neighborhood. House was very clean. My one complaint is they need a new showerhead as its all over the place. Can also spring for some new curtains that dont fall everytime you move them. Other than that, was perfect for a relaxing week

A Few Minor Concerns But Great Place!

We had a wonderful time during our trip. This home is in such a great location and we were able to take some time to relax with the beach nearby and close proximity to many of the local boardwalks. The house itself is well kept and up to date. Think some of the communication with the host could have been improved. We were notified a few days in that the dishwasher was not usable as it leaked when in use and needed to be fixed. It was good that we didn’t use the dishwasher before we received the heads up a few days into our stay. Some of the other amenities also may need some maintenance. On the last day of our trip, we noticed that the new AC unit in the main room was slowly dripping condensation. We quickly turned it off and stopped using it for the rest of our stay. We were not aware that this would happen since it’s a new unit. Instead of the AC, we tried opening the windows to cool the room down, but the windows had difficulty opening. We turned the handles, but they didn’t push the windows open very far and when we tried to close the windows the handles seemed to rotate but not actually close the windows easily Overall, it’s a really nice place to stay and we had a great time staying in this house. Would definitely recommend.

Too short

Anne and her husband were wonderful hosts! They were responsive through the booking and check in process. I did not need to speak to them during our stay because all was good. We had a very nice, well needed vacation after my daughter had knee surgery. We almost had to reschedule but glad we did not because the life guards were super helpful getting her on and off the beach every day in a beach wheel chair. I rated the cleanliness a little low but this was really just the windows, everything else was spotless. Please take that for what it is worth (I'm a clean freak). This did not disrupt our stay nor would deter us from booking again and no reflection on the host. If anything we hope to come again for a longer vacation. It was way too short!
