Rocky View Lodge is on private land and has 5 Private, Queen Bedrooms, as well as two non-private Log Bunk Sets and a Futon, and will sleep up to 18 guests.

(Base Price is for up to 10 guests.
Additional Guests are $10.50/night, per person, for the duration of the stay).

There is a Full Kitchen, 3 Full Baths, a Pool Table, a Hot Tub on the Wrap-Around Deck, Wood-Burning Fireplace, WiFi Internet and more!


Rocky View Lodge is situated about 5 miles from Old Man's Cave, which is the headquarters of the Hocking Hills State Park system. The area is known for it's beautiful scenery, with nature trails, waterfalls, caves and more!
There is also Zip Lining, about 17 miles away, as well as Antique Shopping, Restaurants, Canoeing, Mini Golf, etc., around 14 miles away, in Logan.

It features 5 Private, Queen Bedrooms, as well as two Log Bunk Sets and a Futon, and will sleep up to 18 guests. There is a Full Kitchen, 3 Full Baths, a Pool Table, a Hot Tub on the wrap-around deck, and more!

A wonderful weekend

Family trip

We had a great time!! Everything was clean and we had an issue with our coffeemaker which was addressed and fixed quickly. I would say bring your own drinking and cooking water which we did. There is no dishwasher so just bring disposable stuff if you don’t like washing dishes! But it’s a great place for a big group

Annual Birthday Celebration

Every year my best friends “The Bubble” stay in Hocking Hills for the March Birthdays! This year was extra special as the weather was great so we got to spend lots of time outside! The house was great and very clean and accommodating. The wrap around porch was very nice and comfortable. Love the sizes of the bathroom.

Wonderful stay in Hocking Hills

Our entire family was thrilled with our stay in this cabin. It seems very new/clean, and we really appreciated how the main level was designed with plenty of seating/space for entertaining and family time. Highly recommend!

Beautiful area & cabin

We had a great stay at this cabin for a long weekend. We traveled with another family and children. This cabin was close to all major parks and hiking areas. This was a fabulous weekend for foliage in Hocking Hills. The beds were extremely comfortable. The water did have a silver smell, but we were prepared for that and it did not bother us. We did bring bottled water for cooking and drinking. This was a perfect place to have dinners at home after a fun day. The hot tub is a must, but did need cleaned frequently. The water became discolored and had a lot of sediment in it. My only hang up was the cleanliness of floors and counters. All of the kids socks/feet were black from the floor. We wiped counters to cook and the clothes were quite dirty. Everything else was perfect. We loved it here and would definitely stay again!

For our group this was the perfect place. LOTS of seating which was much appreciated! Water does smell like sulphur but tolerable (bring drinking water). Beautiful lodge!!

June Weekend Trip

This was an awesome place to meet up with friends. House has plenty of room and the large deck makes for a great place to hangout. Lots of beds and 3 bathrooms is a nice feature. Would definitely visit again

Dirty!

We chose this cabin for our girls weekend trip and were very dissatisfied. Upon arrival, i called the owner, but he never answered or called me back. I contacted him once we left and his response was i should've texted or emailed him. Im sorry, since when is it wrong to actually CALL someone? Especially when you know I'm expected at your property and call you at 4pm arrival time?? The place is VERY dirty. The tables were sticky, something is on the wall above the table that looks like a liquid had dried and was left there, the vents and celing fan have years of dust build up, the sheets in the one bedroom were dirty like someone laid in it with their shoes on. Upon arrival, i noticed the basement door, as well as the door off the kitchen to the deck by the hot tub, were both unlocked, hence my call to the owner. There's mold in the corner of the bathroom wall close to the shower in the basement as well. There's bugs, bottle caps and dust behing the sofas as well as the corners of the sofas. The WATER! The water is absolutely foul! It has such a pungent smell of sulfur! When i brought this to the owner's attention, his claim was its well water. I've stayed by many other cabins in Hocking Hills and none of which smelled like that and i'd bet they all have well water! No mention of a softner or system to lighten the smell. Its truly overwhelming! The owner basically blew me off and said i shouldve made him aware while there. Too bad i did and he didn't answer!

The ceiling fan on the main floor was DISCUSSING!!!!!! Kitchen cabinets and drawers we're very difficult to open. When you pulled into the property theres 2 driveways. DO NOT GO TO THE LEFT, no place to turn around. It would really be nice to have a dishwasher. Very quiet place!

Good weekend!

We loved our stay!! However I really wish it would have been stated in the listing of how rough getting up the driveway is! But we all got out and got our pushes and laughs in for sure. While coming with a grill there a very few supplies for it and only pepper available but understand due to us needing to bring our own ( just keep in mind if booking) overall, the beds are super comfortable and we loved every part of our stay. It greatly accommodated our party of 17!

Only 2 downsides as I saw which were the steep bumpy drive to the cabin and that the fire pit was up a hill behind the cabin. Otherwise excellent experience!

Weekend Hiking Trip With Friends

This was a perfect secluded place to retreat. We did two days of hiking, and it was nice to come back and chill. Driveway is intense but makes for a great start to a great weekend. 16 of us with one on the couch in the living room and one on the sofa in the basement. Futon would be last resort. Definitely a weekend to remember.

Family friends getaway

We needed a larger place with amenities to accommodate our larger group with 6 adults and 9 kiddos ranging from 4-17. This was the ticket with ample room for all adults (queen beds!), and plenty of space for the kids as well (wonderful bunks with twins over fulls!). The pool table, hot tub and fire ring kept us well entertained in between our excursions to the Hocking Hills caves and falls. Great stay!

Nice cabin for larger groups

Overall the cabin was enjoyable. The only negative aspects were that the water smelled very sulfuric, and the futon in the loft was not comfortable for sleeping at all. Other than that. The cabin was well cleaned, spacious, and very enjoyable for me and my guests. We would return.
