When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the lovely Miss. Vasso at the front desk who was super warm & friendly. We were then given refreshing welcome cocktails and a cool towel. Unfortunately, we didn't realise that the inland rooms faced a noisy children's water park in the adjacent hotel that is very closely positioned to the Amarande, which was not ideal as we were looking forward to some peace and quiet. We spoke to Vasso and the front desk manager Mrs. Maria Antoniou who were very understanding and they found an alternative room with a partial sea-view. Our room was wonderful - clean and modern with a Nespresso coffee machine, which is a nice touch. We had booked bed-and-breakfast as there were so many restaurants that we wanted to try out. The breakfast was excellent and there were really good options for vegans/plant-based diets. Kristina, the gorgeous young lady who greeted us every morning, was always smiling and ever so helpful. Our thanks goes to Pany, the restaurant manager, and her team who did everything they could to ensure a good experience. At the pool, we loved that we could order drinks at the press of a button and the pool side furniture is SO comfortable. The beach is a 5-minute walk and you can hire a bed and umbrella for €2.50 each. There are good facilities at the beach, it is very clean and the sea was lovely and warm. The Amarande is in a great location just 10mins from centre.
