Home Truths:
- This home allows up to 2 dogs for a fee; undisclosed pets brought without AvantStay’s approval may result in a $500 fine per pet.
- Please note that infants are considered part of the total guest count under HOA rules.
- Whidbey Island is home to a naval air base. On a few weekdays each month (and occasionally in the evening), you may hear loud flight training. The Navy does not conduct training on weekends or holidays and typically publishes the schedule one week in advance.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.

Lovely home in quiet location not far from a small Whidbey Island town. We did walk to the beach, but it was down hill all the way, and all then of course it was back up! The house faces west so the house gets quite warm when closed up for the day and we experienced a small issue with the portable AC but it was quickly resolved by the managing company. This home would accommodate a family or 2 couples quite well.

Great little getaway house

Property was very clean and well-stocked. Honestly, the best stocked house I have been to with VRBO. They had all the pantry staples, as well as coffee/tea and cookware. The little extra touches were nice, like a fresh pizza in the fridge upon arrival. Two things to consider for this property; first, the front door is actually on the backside of the house (as it is pictured in the listing). We had no issue, but I wouldn't bring anyone who is mobility challenged between the gravel driveway and sidewalk to the front door. Secondly, the water view is obstructed by the houses/trees across the street. Again, not really much of an issue for us this weekend but with the neighbors doing yardwork, we didn't spend much time on the deck.

First time to Whidbey Island

The Harborview Getaway was perfect for our small family of three ... plus our pup. The view out the windows was wonderful. The sunny days, cloudy/stormy days, sunrises, sunsets, no matter what, we enjoyed looking out at the changing skies, the snow capped mountains far in the distance, and the hawks soaring by. The house is in a very quiet small neighborhood, which was great for us. There was a short walk down to the beach ... we didn't need the key to the gate but if someone has any sort of mobility issue, I'd recommend getting the key to be able to drive down, as the walk down and back up was steep. The house was very clean and well organized. We've stayed in many vacation rentals and thought that this was the best equipped kitchen we have ever rented. We were also thrilled to see REAL sized coffee mugs!! Tiny mugs of coffee in the morning just don't make the grade! Any possible piece of kitchen equipment that we wanted we found and in good working order! The binder of information about the area; restaurants, grocery stores, state parks, beaches, gas stations, etc. was wonderfully complete. We also appreciated the user manuals for different things in the house. It is nice to be able to figure things out without a lot of effort.We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely return. Whidbey Island is just what we were looking for, we had fun exploring the south end of the island but also did take the time to visit Deception Pass State Park in the north.

Favorite spot on Whidbey

Harborview Getaway is a true gem and has become our go to spot to stay on Whidbey. The house is quiet and tucked away with a beautiful view of the sound and the Olympics on a clear day. The home is comfortable, with one of the most well appointed kitchens I've ever used. The management is professional and responsive, and included many thoughtful touches to the stay.

Lots of room to enjoy this lovely home. Beautiful view from the downstairs and upstairs loft. Well stocked kitchen, thank you! We had daily visits from the local deer, so exciting to see them up close. Overall great stay!

Perfect peaceful space

Booked this VRBO for my son's family -- 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 almost teen, and one 6-month-old. Really convenient to the rest of the family AND a nice hideaway for them when the whole extended family got to be a bit much. Clean, comfortable, spacious - everyone's needs were met. We'll definitely be booking Harborview Getaway again.

Perfect October Getaway

The house was lovely, clean, and comfortable. The view from the loft is great, and the price was really reasonable for all that the house offered It was also close to Langley which offers shopping and yummy restaurants.

Good home on Whidbey Island

This was a nice home with a great front deck and peek a boo views of the water. Beach access is just one street over and down the hill for a nice private beach. The nearest store is 10min away for that nice “in the woods” feeling, but you do see the neighbors so you aren’t by yourself out there. Wish they had a tv downstairs other than just the master bedroom, but it didn’t take away from our great time, thanks again for a great stay

Great property, we loved the location

We stayed at this property over the holiday weekend. It was great. The place was very clean and well maintained. We did cook breakfast and a few dinners during our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed, plus an added bonus, it had items stocked in the pantry, spices, olive oil, We would definitely stay here again.

Great Weekend Getaway

We only stayed for 3 days, but we had everything we needed and enjoyed being away from the busyness of the city. We were very close to coffee, restaurants, and even the ferry. It was extra special that we could bring our two dogs with us, they loved the trip! Thank you, would definitely come back.

Definitely good property manager, beautiful serene place to for the views and nature. Well maintained home and well arranged on the details to use the home. Much appreciated. Recommend central air, or at least better fans arrangement. The portable AC is an accident waiting to happen on flooding the upstairs with the dehumidifier element that needs to be disabled or well labeled to prevent. All-in - would definitely recommend to a friend or stay there again. Thank you
