« At one time, I believed Holiday was a safe choice for a night's stay, but not any more. They are no better than lower value stay chains. We made a concerted effort to stay at this hotel because it had a pool. However, the open was not open. Look, you are in Georgia and the weather has been above 70 and reaching low 80s for 10 days. Also after finding a liquor bottle at the corner of our bed when checking out, I doubt the sheets were changed before our stay. »

« The front desk clerk greeted us warmly and was helpful. Check in was quick. The room was clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. For a motel we were surprised how quiet it was. No noise from traffic or other rooms. No blow dryer which was not an issue just something to note. Bring your own. Breakfast was pastries, bagels, make your own waffle, cereal, fruit, yogurt. Oatmeal packets. Enough to get the day started. If we needed to stay in Athens again we would stay here again. »

« We arrived at Country Inn and for 2nights were please in general, by the beautiful hall! Sadly, no machine for beverages worked, on top of that, AT the reception fridge for them neither,coke warm, needed to go get the Ice , not fun, and We needed corkscrew for our wine, réception had none! Juste the small things! :-( the pool was warm, very tiny spa also but not hot enough and they opened Doors to let humidity out, brrrrr....please get a good ventilation for this hôtel, IT will help! « Then whole floor smelled weed. This is a large hotel, and this is not the first time I stay here. But I notice the people that tend to stay here are more and more sketchy. The whole floor smelled to marihuana. Sad. »
