Cloud Ten - Mr Lake Lure Vacation Rentals

This beautiful home is full of surprises around every corner. As you walk through the front door you are greeted with a breathtaking view of the mountains. You walk straight into the large living area on the main floor. The main living area is equipped with a large sectional big enough for at least 8 people.

In the main living area on the main floor, you have a gas fireplace, a 55" 4K HD Roku Tv. To the right of the living area there is a large dining table with enough seating for 8 people and again is accompanied by the breathtaking view of the mountains. There is a screened in porch right off the dining room with a cozy set up for people to enjoy. Adjacent to the dining room is the kitchen, a large kitchen. In the kitchen you have wrap around counter tops providing more than enough space to host meals for your family on vacation. There is an island in the middle of the kitchen as well. HAS BOTH A KEURIG AND DRIP COFFEE MAKER. This kitchen is well stocked and comes with multiples of everything. To the left of the Main living area, there is a large laundry room that is accessible to guests, with full size washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board. Across the hall is the main floor bathroom. This bathroom is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower with glass doors

Further down the hallway are 2 bedrooms. The 1st Guest Bedroom on the main floor is located across from the main bath. With a breathtaking view of the mountains, it shares the main deck with the rest of the house. A luxurious king size bed situated so you can fall asleep to the views of the mountains. You can easily walk out and enjoy the deck and views of nature right from your own room.

At the end of the hallway is the Master Bedroom Suite. The master also has a king-sized bed, the breathtaking view, and the access to the deck, as well as its own private bathroom. This bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower with glass doors, a double vanity, and a jacuzzi bathtub. You can even enjoy the view of the mountains from the comfort of the bathtub.

Just off the front door are the stairs leading to the lower level. As you ascend downstairs once again you are greeted by the breathtaking views of the mountains and a large sliding glass door that gives you the access to enjoy the view from the bottom deck. As you come off the steps you walk into the downstairs living area. In this living room you will also find a second sectional sofa big enough to sit 8 people comfortably. There is also a rocking chair, a large coffee table perfect for board games, a gas fireplace, and another 55" 4KHD Roku tv. To the left of the stairs there is a daybed with twin trundle making a total of 2 twin mattresses. Right across from the day bed is the lower-level guest bathroom. At the end of the hall downstairs is another bedroom with a king-sized bed as well as a crib. This room has access to the bathroom without going into the public living area downstairs.

Once you venture outside to the lower-level deck you are greeted by the large hot tub. Perfectly positioned for privacy but allowing for you to enjoy the expansive views of Rumbling Bald. Why would you need to leave

AREA THINGS TO DO_____________________________

Lake Lure Beach is just 5 minutes away, complete with water slides and a splash pad! The main Town of Lake Lure marina offers boat rentals, daily tours, and dinner cruises. River tubing, zip-lining, gem-mining, horseback riding and rock climbing are all within a short distance of the house. The area also boasts 2 beautiful golf courses for those looking to venture out onto the green. Hike Chimney Rock State Park for a breathtaking view. Or explore the charming little town of Chimney Rock with riverfront breweries, Burntshirt Bistro and tasting room, only 15 minutes away.

For any grocery needs, Ingles Market is a large fully stocked grocery store with deli, bakery, wine, and beer, along with a Starbucks and Pharmacy. The towns of Hendersonville, Flat Rock, Black Mountain, and Asheville (The Biltmore Estate) are between 45 minutes to an hour's drive depending on traffic. Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) offering world class equestrian events throughout the year is a short 20-minute drive. the Towns of Columbus and Tryon are also a short drive away.

NC VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS

First, be aware that the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act provides you with certain rights and protections. Second, we would like to make you aware of a few local regulations designed to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum occupancy limit for this home is 8 persons. You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages.

DESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. There is parking for 2 vehicles at this property. No RV's trailers, campers, or oversized vehicles of any kind.

ACCESS: You will receive directions and access information once we have received a signed rental agreement securing reservation (this agreement will be sent to you for electronic signature) you will also need to provide a copy of your government issued ID to our company with current mailing address and contact information along with vehicle registration of each vehicle that will be at the home during your stay. You will be emailed check-in instructions 24 hours prior to arrival provided you have signed your electronic rental agreement and sent in a copy of your photo ID and vehicle information. If you go to a property prior to approval from our office before check in time you will be accessed an early check-in fee $50.

TRASH DISPOSAL: All household waste & trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids) when available unless advised otherwise due to increased bear activity.

MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in. If you are not 25, you will NOT be allowed to check in and no refund will be provided.

NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, graduation parties, or ANY similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works very closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes, and report to us any occupancy violations. Any violation of this rule mandates you immediately vacate home without refund, regardless of the remaining duration of your reservation.

FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief.

LAKE LEVELS: Lake water levels cannot be guaranteed. The Town of Lake Lure may lower the lake below full pond seasonally for dam repairs, sewer upkeep, silt removal, and to allow homeowners the ability to make repairs to docks and sea walls. Periodic lowering might also happen because of flood warnings, heavy rain, or other emergencies observed by the Town. In all these circumstances, the Town of Lake Lure reserves the right to limit use of boats, kayaks, canoes, or other watercraft at any time as it deems necessary.

LAKE ACTIVITIES: Swimming: Do not swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat.

FISHING: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply.

BOATING: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina.

PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing - Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited.

NO SMOKING: Smoking, Vaping and Electronic cigarettes are prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be assessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking and/or vaping in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door, do not stand near open doors or windows allowing smoke to enter the home while smoking on property. Please make sure butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground (including the fire pit) or bring them into the home. If there is any tobacco smell in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $500 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not permitted due to the long-lasting odor. If these policies are violated, there will be a charge for excessive cleaning.

NOISE: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10 p.m. and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake.

UNRULY BEHAVIOR: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced.

SECURITY CAMERA LOCATIONS: Please be advised our homes have forward facing entry area security cameras. We monitor for non-reported pets, over occupancy and number of vehicles.

PETS/ANIMALS: PETS/ANIMALS are NOT ALLOWED in this home. If you are found to be in violation of this rule you will be required to vacate the property and forfeit the remainder of your stay. You will also be assessed a fine of $500 for the violation. No refunds will be given!

RENTAL AGREEMENT AND TOTAL BALANCE: You will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement before your reservation is secured. Failure to sign rental agreement with-in 72 hours of booking, will result in cancellation of reservation and forfeiture of deposit. Any monies received by Mr Lake Lure Vacation Rentals for occupancy of vacation property indicated the acceptance of the terms of our vacation rental agreement in full. Your total amount listed on the Mr Lake LureÂź Vacation Rental Agreement may be different than the amount paid to the 3rd party site you book through. All third-party sites charge differing amounts as service fees to guests for using their services. We have no control over those fees and do not collect them.

Please read your vacation rental agreement carefully before you begin your vacation. All policies are strictly enforced. It is the responsibility of all guests and members of their party to be familiar with all policies pertaining to rental.

ALL PROPERTIES OFFER AN INITIAL SUPPLY OF THE FOLLOWING AMENITIES:

Including, but not limited to: bed linens and bath towels (2 bath towels and 2 washcloths per Guest, 2 hand towels per bathroom sink), dishwasher detergent (2 loads) and dishwashing soap, new sponge, laundry detergent (2 loads), hand soap, (1 set per bathroom sink, including hotel size: 1 bar of soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner and 1 lotion), paper towels (1 roll), toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), and garbage bags (2 kitchen bags, plus 2 black bags). If you don't feel this will be adequate for your stay, you will want to stop and pick up more on your way. All properties provide fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, including coffee makers as well as some cooking utensils. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the Property Owner and are not accessible to Guest. Rearranging furniture or removing any items from the Property is prohibited.

ITEMS YOU WILL/MAY WANT TO BRING FOR YOUR STAY:

Extra folding chairs, beach towels, shampoos/ body soaps, hair dryers, basic cooking condiments, tin foil, plastic wrap, food storage containers, coffee, board games, fishing poles & tackle, floats, life preservers for toddlers/infants, golf clubs.

Late check-outs will be charged the applicable daily rate or $50 per hour, whichever is greater to the credit card on file if the home has not been vacated by 1:00 pm

*** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. For more information about the annual lake drawdown, please contact the Town of Lake Lure.

We had a great stay. Plenty of space, house was very clean, easy to use hot tub. Property owner was quick to respond to messages. I would suggest getting a bear proof trashcan, but that would be my only complaint. Everything was great!!

The house is beautiful and well appointed. The view is outstanding and we loved the screened in porch. Check in and check out was a breeze. We did not have trouble with the locks but could have used a little instruction on the TV’s. LOL We also enjoyed the hot tub! We really give the house 4.5 stars and only because the beds were not comfortable. Everything was outstanding except the mattresses need an upgrade to equal the quality of the rest of the house

We had a weekend full of fun at Cloud Ten. The view is definitely tops on my list of the best we’ve encountered at an Airb&b. The screened in porch was a bonus. The huge back porch is fabulous for taking in the scenery while eating, drinking wine or coffee . The guys enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The 3 bedroom/ 3 baths with king sized beds gave us all privacy and comfort. The home was sparkling clean! We forgot coffee filters. There were a few there but that might be a nice item to stock more of just in case they are needed. The porch had a small tear in the screen but otherwise very comfy with plenty of room to settle in for 6 adults. Overall we had a glorious time. The Lake Lure area is charming & this home is lovely. We may be back to enjoy again !

Lovely stay. The house was the perfect set up for 4 adults and 4 children under 10. View is beautiful, beds were extremely comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. The location is close enough to Chimney Rock for a day out. Would stay again without any hesitation.

Our group of six friends had such a wonderful time staying at Cloud Ten. The house was beautiful and had clearly been well cleaned before we arrived. We couldn’t believe how well stocked the kitchen was, and the bedrooms and living area were very comfortable. By far the best amenity was the amazing double-decker deck. We loved hanging out on the couches in the screened area, and having dinner on the top deck, looking out at the mountains, lake, and fall foliage. And the hot tub, which was cleaned and shocked ahead of our arrival, was a highlight of the trip. The team at Mr. Lake Lure Rentals were great to work with and made the check in and check out processes so easy. All in all, we had a relaxing stay in this lovely house and look forward to returning.

Cloud Ten served us a beautiful view and comfortable home for our girls getaway. The location was within minutes from the attractions we planned to see, and did see. Legends restaurant was our go-to and they never disappointed. What a peaceful, beautiful destination for singles, couples, and groups! We saw two beautiful brides and wedding parties during our visit, which made our getaway much more wonderful! ❀

We had a group of friends gathering for a long weekend and this was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the house, especially the screened porch and great kitchen area. The communication with the property manager was exceptional and appreciated.

I never leave bad reviews but this time I decided to review this trip. The house is amazing and everything would be perfect except one huge issue. It says not pets allowed and we found dog hair on linens and pillows. Dirty kitchen dishes, we had to re-wash them before using. The grill was not even usable since it was greasy and really dirty . I can continue with details but there were more cleaning lacks. We reached out to the management after check out with pictures and asking to waive the cleaning fees that they charged us. We were denied and told that we were supposed to call them in 1,5 hours after check in and they would have someone to fix it for us (while we are staying there). I think that if people are renting a vacation rentals they are not expecting it to be cleaned while they are in!!! We were really disappointed

The hot tub was a fabulous part of our stay, we really appreciated it! Also, the kitchen was well-appointed. Also appreciated having plenty of linens!
