« Property was easy to find and located in a quiet neighbourhood. Spacious and comfortable. Advertises 3 bathrooms but is in fact 2 bathrooms with separate toilet. We were unable to get the TV's working with free 2 air channels Photos advertised a twin room but no the case - 5 x doubles »

« I would say place is very average in terms of standard, good few key issues such as squeaky floor, loose bed frames which may impact your sleep - impacted us. Front and back yard needs lots of clean up, didn't impact us. Other issues such as fan, tissues, gas burner, power trip all were actively sorted by host. My Rating for host is high. He is very responsive and available to sort what is possible he could, helpful for any information »

« Very comfortable and well stocked property. My only request would be that single sheets and blankets be provided for sach bed. Also, instructio. On how to use the coffee maker would be handy. Also i. Could.not access freeview tv. Thank you »

« This historic property is so close to the shops and restaurants of Manuka that we could walk to them as if they were extensions of the house itself! Because we were in Canberra as visiting professors at ANU, our stay was an extended one, and we often worked at the house and walked over for morning and afternoon teas in Manuka. The whole neighborhood became our home, and that made it a very lively, interesting place to live. »

« Spacious with a very nice location and great view of the lake. It's missing key kitchen items like drinking glasses, salt and pepper, cooking oil and cleaning supplies that would have made our stay more comfortable. Could have used a few extra towels and maybe some blackout blinds for the rooms that get a lot of light due to the nice large windows that walk out to the balconies. Overall a really good stay for a large group. The host was great with check-in times and communication. »

« Hi Laurence,The house is really lovely, but as it was so hot in Canberra the day we stayed, 36 the house has a big problem with the bedrooms.Two of the bedrooms in the house don't have air con and were very, very hot, and because the rooms don't have fly screens on windows, you couldn't have them wide open to cool the room down. One of our children have big reactions to mosquito bites so had to have the window closed, so consequently they had a very bad sleep as it was so hot in the room even...
