A Little About Your Stay



Comfort and enjoyment are what Hawaii vacations are all about. This One Bedroom/Two Bath villa is situated at the breathtaking Kapalua® Resort, in the premium complex, The Ridge. With a spacious floor plan featuring stunning ocean, Molokai and coastal views; and, with a large grassy area just off the lanai, you will find just how easy it is to simply melt into your very own tropical dream vacation.







Situated on a once working pineapple plantation, Kapalua now offers its guests all the amenities and perks of a luxury resort, but, without the crowds and long lines. Enjoy easy access to Maui’s award-winning beaches, restaurants, spas, PGA golf, plus miles of sparkling coastline spanning the resort, and so much more.







Villa 2412 is ideally located to take in all the stunning beauty Maui has to offer. Upon opening the door to your villa, you will be drawn to the fabulous ocean view landscapes just outside the windows. Your comfortable living room features a sleeper sofa, two sitting chairs, a coffee table, flatscreen TV, stereo, carpet and tile flooring and AC. From the living room the island of Molokai looms beautifully as only Molokai could; then, take in the vista all the way up to the world famous surf spot, Honolua Bay.  No matter where you are seated, this villa will truly connect you to the beauty and wonder that this magical island has to offer.







The large lanai is located just off the living room and boasts stunning views that are simply captivating. Enjoy a cup of Kona Coffee, or a Mai Tai; and then, allow the soft trade winds to work their magic while you take in all that is before you. The lanai features two lounge chairs and a table with seating for two. During whale season, you are in for a real treat! You have the ultimate lookout for our island’s most famous returning guests, the humpback whale. There is nothing more thrilling than gazing out and watching these massive creatures jump, splash and play about.







As a bonus, a manicured grass area sits adjacent to the lanai and is a wonderful space to relax under the sun and take in the sweeping ocean views! One of the most unique and special features of this outdoor area is that it is also home to an ancient Hawaiian ruin. Just past the lawn sits a “paepae” which is a stone platform that was used by the ancients as either a dwelling, a fish lookout, or, perhaps served some sacred function.







A dining room table sits just off the living room and provides enough seating to comfortably seat four. With passing sail boats in the background, dining in your villa takes on a whole new sense of enjoyment.







The kitchen is located next to the dining room table, and features a cozy breakfast bar with two pull up stools. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all that is needed to prepare and serve the finest of meals, and is complete with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, sink with garbage disposal and of course, ocean views! During your stay, if you find yourself in need of something extra, please do not hesitate to ask and we will be more than happy to bring it over!







One of the two bathrooms is located just off the living room and has a shower, vanity with sink, closet, and washer and dryer. This full bathroom is wonderful for guests, as well as for providing that extra space to prepare for your day.







After a long day exploring Maui, kick off your flip flops and retire into your spacious master bedroom which features a king size bed, end tables with lamps, flatscreen TV, a large closet, fan, AC and a small lanai. The attached master bathroom comes complete with twin vanities and sinks, as well as an oversized soaking tub with a shower.







This villa comes with reserved covered parking, free wireless password protected high speed internet, digital cable, discounted golf, starter supply of paper towels, soap/shampoos, laundry detergent and bath/beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler.

Late departures must be made at the time of booking for a fee of half a days rent.

The Ridge features two beautiful, heated swimming pools. Both pool areas feature gas grills, lounge chairs, a location for eating, with tables and chairs, a shower, a soda machine and restrooms. Pool “One” has an additional full kitchen and large covered gathering area, making this a perfect space for dining throughout the day, rain or shine. 



There are many reasons why visitors choose The Ridge as their vacation destination. One of these is that Kapalua® Resort is a “low impact” resort; thus, guests staying at The Ridge find that they have the luxury of near endless activities available to them, but, without the large crowds, the traffic and noise.



  



The Kapalua® Resort features three of the top State of Hawaii beaches, and these you will find just a short walk from your villa. One of these beaches, Kapalua Bay, has won numerous awards for excellence, including "Best Beach in the World" by Dr. Beach, and “Best Beach in the US,” by Conde Nast. This bay is situated so that it is protected from heavy seas and wind. Its waters are calm and inviting; thus, it may be no surprise that Kapalua Bay offers some of the best snorkeling to be found on the island. Gentle waves, soft white sand and breathtaking beauty combine to secure a spot for this beach in top world rankings every year.



 



Guests can also enjoy two golf courses – the PGA’s Plantation Course and The Bay Course. Both courses offer spectacular views of the Pacific and the island, while at the same time challenging even the best of golfers. *Please note that while the Plantation Course is currently open, the Bay Course is temporarily closed, and a reopening date has not yet been announced.
