It's 7:30 am. You are on vacation, so you want to sleep in. However, your neighbors next door have kids and their alarm clock just went off, together with their kids. You hear everything from then on because the walls are paper thin. So, you get up, and go to an unimpressive beach or an utterly forgettable road to Hana. You come back and find out the place turned into an oven (and we were there in December). You turn on the tiny air-conditioner in the bedroom, but it doesn’t do the job, plus conveniently blows cold air straight into your head when you lie in the bed. So, you open all the doors and windows, and by 3 am the temperature drops to comfortable 75 degrees. You want to sleep in, but by now you know what happens at 7:30 :) As a bonus you get reminded over and over again that if you don't register immediately you will be fined $10,52. Clearly not a mind-blowing sum, but the reminders make you wonder if you are on vacation or at a camp.
