Chalets à Lafayette

« After a shaky start, the service improved over the weekend, The bed was clean but the carpet appeared dirty and the shower had mold around the edges. The outdoor balcony needed a good cleaning. Breakfast both days was really good. »

« Deuxième séjour à cet endroit. Accueil chaleureux, le proprio nous a reconnu dès notre arrivée! Nous avons eu la même chambre que lors du premier séjour. Chambre propre et confortable. L'endroit permet de s'immerger dans l'esprit de la route 66 en profitant de la proximité de la ville de Carthage. »

Enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets, lightning bug shows, and the beef cattle grazing next to the cottage. The birds chirping are such a delight. It's comforting that the cottage is pet friendly »

« Very clean and tastefully decorated property in a quiet little town with local antique shops, BBQs and the best food around @The Eating Table. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary cooking and eating utensils if you want to remain inside or are on a budget. The bed and linens were comfortable and clean as well as the rest of the furniture. There was Wi-Fi and Tv in the room as well. The host was wonderful! The best nights rest I have ever had away from home! »

« This is truly what a vacation rental should be. Debbie was an excellent host; communication was great, and the house has wonderful character. We spent the weekend learning about the farm, the Shakers in Kentucky (who knew), enjoying the cows walking with us from the field next to the road, and enjoying a wonderful level of privacy. »

The host was very responsive and polite. We would definitely recommend this place.P.S. Just a heads up though, if you're a bigger guy like me, you will be cramped when using the bathroom. « Great stay at this farmhouse. It worked perfectly for our family, with a great location to access Mammoth Cave, as well as the Corvette museum. The bedrooms are spacious, the back patio is great to sit in the evenings, and the kitchen was well accommodated. Definitely recommend. »
