« An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions. »

« Charmant petit hôtel de passage, les chambres sont assez confortables. Petit point à revoir sur la literie et la propreté de la salle de bain. Nous y avons dîné 2 fois et la nourriture était bonne. Bon rapport qualité / prix! »

« Cette hôtel était vraiment parfait , nous avons passer un très bon séjour »

« The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. « Dejligt sted. Skøn natur omkring hotellet og rigtig god atmosfære. God mad og venlig betjening. »

« Due to circumstances beyond our control we were forced to cancel our reservation at the hotel, which we did by telephone four days before our expected arrival. When the hotel refused to refund our prepayment, we asked for a raincheck, which they didn't even answer. »

« Lit très inconfortable. Personnel peu connaissant de la région et des activités. Restaurant fine dinning très moyen. Bon côté et le site dans un beau petit village et la piscine/sauna. »

« Pros: Beautiful cottage, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds Cons: Living room can get very hot at the height of summer (main window has no shutters) Better go via Sykes or Lakelovers. »

« Lovely home in the Lake District. The parking can be tricky during the day so arrive after five and there’s no issue. »

« Excellent location with a beautiful view from the property. Stayed very cool inside during a heatwave (but could be cold if not so hot outside!). The apartment itself has a good space and a full kitchen. However, there is quite a lot of clutter and lots of unnecessary electronic devices (such as multiple sky boxes, Alexas, wifis, entertainment systems etc). The apartment was clean enough but generally could do with a bit of updating and a clear out of the cupboards, under the bed etc. There is...

« Really comfy, warm apartment with all the facilities needed. Perfect for the village, pubs and shops »
