« We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive. « 1181/5000 Very pretty villa on two floors placed right next to a small rice field. Another much larger is located right in front which unfortunately leads to mosquitoes at night. Remember to close your windows and your door before the night otherwise you will be entitled to bites. The food is quite generous but the service is very long and prices much more expensive than in Negombo. Three times more expensive for fries as an example. The bedroom is comfortable and has two medium sized beds...

« Cabanas located in trees - you are literally sleeping outside. Different experience, but nice. Be aware that animals may enter, and the river is very close by, so maybe not so good for people who needs complete silence to sleep. Staff very helpful and nice! »
