    Located just minutes from downtown La Jolla and top local attractions, the home offers free parking and a convenient base for exploring San Diego’s coastline.



    The Space:

    ⚠️ Please note: small construction site nearby. Access is unaffected, but disruptive noise may be heard during the daytime.



    Welcome to a thoughtfully designed 4-bedroom nautical-themed home with three bedrooms featuring queen beds and one bedroom with a full-over-twin bunk bed.

    ✔️ High-quality linens, air conditioning, and heating help ensure a comfortable stay year-round.

    ✔️ The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and all essential cookware and dishes for easy meals at home.



    Please note: the primary bedroom does not have a traditional door and is accessible through the bunk bedroom or directly from the patio. This may result in slightly reduced privacy and is important to consider when planning your stay.

Explore nearby attractions such as the La Jolla Cove, Birch Aquarium, and the Torrey Pines Golf Course.

    With easy access to main roads and free parking, you'll have no trouble exploring the best of La Jolla and its surrounding areas. The property is located in a walkable and bike-friendly neighborhood, making it easy to explore on foot or by bicycle. Public transportation and rideshare services are also readily available for your convenience.

great relaxing spot

We had a fantastic stay! The property has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The highlight is definitely the outdoor area. it features a heated pool, a BBQ, and a cozy firepit, perfect for creating unforgettable memories. We highly recommend this place, especially if you plan to spend at least a day enjoying the pool and outdoor amenities.

Great location in La Jolla with convenient access to the bike path. The house and pool were well maintained. We were disappointed the listing was described as “family-friendly” but a pack and play or highchair were not provided.The rooms were all delightful and tastefully decorated but we didn’t understand the layout when booking. The master bedroom was accessed through the bunk bed room with French doors separating them. All beds were queens (one twin upper bunk) and not a single king. There was a Nespresso coffee machine (no pods provided needs original thimble sized pods) and a standard drip 12-14 cup coffee machine (needs grounds). Overall a fantastic stay but our expectations would have been more aligned had we known this information up front.

Host dropped the ball

We were excited to make a family trip to San Diego and the city did not disappoint! Unfortunately, our La Jolla Nautical Cottage with Heated Pool was not seen in the same light. The house itself is a cozy, rustic cottage set in a neighborhood of La Jolla. It does have a quick walk to the beach and a walking trail behind the house. The Host attentiveness however did disappoint. We chose the Nautical Cottage because it had a pool and was close to the city. Upon check-in we had to report that the driveway gate and pool keypads did not work, and there were ants in one bathroom. We were told to spray the ants with chemical ant spray. That meant the Host was already aware of them. As the week progressed the ants were found in each room, which made the house seem not as clean as we had viewed it initially. As for the pool and gate, the Host asked if we followed the instructions properly. When we reported the pool problems a second time, we finally got a response. Lucky for us, the maintenance man fixed the pool cover issue in minutes - a tripped circuit breaker - and gave us the correct gate numbers! Happily, we were able to use the pool though only for an hour before we had to start packing to leave the next morning. Not the worst 4-night stay (we also camp a lot), but with more effort from the Host the day we checked in, it could have been so much better.
