Enjoy a peaceful getaway in this authentic 52 + 13 m² round log cabin in the quiet village of Rukajärvi in Kuusamo. The traditional round log construction gives the cabin a warm, timeless atmosphere, and it is fully habitable in winter. Ideal for families and outdoor enthusiasts, the cabin offers a private electric sauna, a cozy fireplace and a child-friendly yard. Lake Pyhäjärvi lies 350 m away, cross-country ski tracks start 200 m from the door and a snowmobile route is 400 m away, while the Ruka ski resort and its lifts are 5.5 km away and the nearest spa 25 km. Good hunting grounds are close by, and pets are welcome.

The cabin is laid out over two floors, with the living spaces and both bedrooms on the ground floor and a sleeping loft above.

Living room & Kitchen: The ground floor has an open-plan kitchen and living room warmed by a fireplace, with a TV, DVD player, CD player and radio. The kitchenette is equipped with an electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with a freezer compartment, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and electric kettle, along with tableware and cutlery for 8 people. Cold and hot piped mains water serves the whole cabin, and a vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment are provided.

Bedrooms & Loft: There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. The loft above holds mattresses for a further 2 guests, giving the cabin sleeping space for 6 in total.

Bathroom & Sauna: The washroom holds a toilet and a shower, and the cabin has its own private electric sauna heated by an electric stove.

Outdoor area: The yard is child-friendly, and there is a parking space with a car heating plug. The cabin is electrically heated and is entirely non-smoking.

Please note that final cleaning and bed linens are not included in the rental price, but can be purchased separately from the host.
