House was beautiful and within walking distance to the beach. Super convenient. House was well-stocked with everything needed to have a wonderful time. Host was perfect and very attentive. Easy drive to restaurants and ice cream!!
Overall I was satisfied with the stay but we had some issues that did add up and become annoying. The grill was unusable. There was no propane or very little propane in the tank. The grill grates were splintering and had so much grease and debris that it was unsafe to use for fear of metal flaking. I expected some corrosion and dirtiness from a rental grill but this was beyond what I consider acceptable. The rental company did come the day after I called and inspected the unit and also deemed it too corroded for use. They provided grill mats while they searched for new grill grates which was acceptable but still not ideal. Secondly there was no remote control for the upstairs living room TV. The rental company did come by on Monday to provide a new remote but we were without ine from check-in Saturday to Monday. After the controller was provided we discovered the owner had a code in the TV that no one, including the employee who brought the remote knew. He did manage to get ahold of someone that provided the code but we had to input a 5 digit code anytime we wanted to watch TV or switch apps (Netflix, YouTube, etcâŠ) on it. Another annoying aspect was there was no code for the garage door opener. The rental company said there wasnât one and that we should just leave the garage side door open while we went to the beach. That was unacceptable for us so as a result you had to climb up to the upper level and get in the front door then walk back down to the lower level
