« The Paxton Cottages are beautiful olde world accommodation and they are truly lovely with every amenity you could want. Beds linen comfort A1. We are a group of 3 aged from 86 down to 77. We arrived in Burra around 10am and had a drive around town. We then popped into the cottages to see, on the off chance we could get an early check in as some accommodation is apt to do but NO. « Value for money city stay in cabin. The cabin was old but had everything. Heater, 2 x bedrooms, tv and DVD player, iron and board, hair dryer, plenty of pillows and bedding. Receptionist (Alicia) was lovely and helped with dining recommendations. Quiet and peaceful. Will stay here again. »

« The place was packed when we arrived, so book in if you can. We camped out and used the facilities which were very clean and acceptable. Had fun with other guests around the fire pit. Overall, very good. »

« Cabine spacieuse, bien équipée, literie confortable. Mais mobilier vieillissant, il y aurait besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement. La plage est toute proche, mais pas très jolie, très dégradée par des tempêtes et en cours de restauration. Voiture indispensable, pas grand-chose à proximité pédestre. Bonne adresse pour une dernière nuit avant le départ, aéroport tout proche. Et en voiture, Glenelg à quelques minutes. »

« Great place to stay for a family with young children. But if you're Asian you might not get as great level of service Ive been here twice now and at first i thought it was just a misunderstanding from my part but the 2nd time confirmed it. See it for yourself. »
