Super vieux Brûlure de cigarettes sur les chaises et le canapé qui fait office de couchage qui grince toute la nuit Nuit blanche

Destiny Hotel in Tirana was a nice hotel with a pleasant atmosphere and a good breakfast selection. However, the gym facilities were somewhat worn and limited. Neither of the two stationary bikes was working, and there was no water dispenser in the gym. Another disappointment was that we had to pay for parking, a cost that was not disclosed when we made the booking. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but the gym facilities could be improved and the parking fees should be communicated more clearly in advance.

Terrible experience – avoid this hotel. We stayed here from Sunday, August 23 to Monday, August 24. At check-in, a young male staff member named Dino insisted that I pay the €5 tourist tax per person immediately, refusing to let me pay at check-out. He demanded cash only, claiming the hotel did not accept card payments for such small amounts. Despite my doubts, I paid €10 and asked for a receipt. After some time, Dino gave me what was obviously a fake receipt: a homemade Word document with no official hotel header, footer, or proper details whatsoever (see photo). The next morning, I explained the situation to his female colleague. She apologized for what had happened and returned the €10 in cash. Based on what happened, I can only conclude that Dino tried to pocket the €10 himself. Unfortunately, this was not the only issue. The hotel was also dirty: dried chewing gum on the bedroom floor, bread crumbs and generally poor cleanliness (see photos). There were also serious safety concerns, including exposed, sharp screws directly above the bed, apparently used to secure the TV. Breakfast was another disappointment. It is served in what appears to be a converted hotel room of barely 20 m², with around 20 people squeezed into this tiny space. The choice is extremely limited and the quality is low. The only positive point was the young female staff member, who was friendly and helpful

The host Mila was excellent and was quick in respond to all our queries. The property was clean and well equipped, only a short distance to the main attractions in Tirana.
