The Space:
Kas Kris sits in the quiet Santa Barbara neighborhood and offers beautiful vistas over Republiek toward Hato, the sea, and Klein Bonaire. With 280 m² of living space, there’s plenty of room indoors and out. For daily groceries, Zhung Kong is 4 kilometers away, Isidel Beach Park is 3 kilometers, restaurant Cuba Compagnie is 5 kilometers, and Dive Friends Den Laman is 4 kilometers. Outside you’ll find a private swimming pool—a regular pool—perfect for cooling off after a day exploring the island.

Guest Access:
As a guest of Kas Kris, you have exclusive access to the entire property: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, the living room with open kitchen, plus the outdoor areas including the covered veranda, terrace, pool deck, and the private swimming pool. Parking is available on-site and on the street. To warmly welcome you and explain the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally handle all arrivals! The Sunwise hosts for the property will coordinate your check-in.

The Neighborhood:
Hillside neighborhood on the north side of Kralendijk, behind the historic saliñas. Thanks to the slightly elevated position, some areas enjoy fine views toward the sea and Klein Bonaire.
It’s a quiet, residential area with quick access to northern snorkeling and dive sites and the route to Washington Slagbaai National Park. Comfortable, quiet, and easy to reach.

Getting Around:
A rental car is essential on Bonaire to explore beyond the immediate surroundings of Kas Kris in Santa Barbara. With your own car you can reach every corner at your own pace—from secluded snorkel spots to local restaurants. We recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere. Most roads are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup or SUV is advised. Park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough. There’s no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy cruise ship days.

Other Things to Note:
Check-in from 3:00 PM and check-out by 10:00 AM. Early or late check-in/out may be possible on request, depending on other reservations. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations. Please keep noise levels down at night. Enjoy your stay at Kas Kris!
