The Space:

Laguna Serena Apartment offers a stylish and comfortable layout across two bedrooms and one bathroom.



The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. The living room connects to the covered veranda and terrace with lagoon views. The fully equipped open kitchen adjoins the living room and includes a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, toaster and coffee maker.

Good to know:

- No pool - There is no pool on-site, but Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach are just 1 kilometer away for a refreshing dip in the Caribbean Sea.

- No A/C in the living room - The living room doesn't have air conditioning, but on the veranda and with the doors open you can enjoy the trade winds for natural cooling.

- Stairs - The apartment is on the second floor and reached via stairs, which may be less suitable for guests with limited mobility.



Guest Access:

As a guest of Laguna Serena Apartment you have access to the entire apartment, including both bedrooms, the bathroom, the living room, the fully equipped open kitchen and the covered veranda with terrace on the lagoon side. The washing machine and all other amenities listed in the description are for your private use. To warmly welcome our guests and explain more about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally handle all arrivals. The Sunwise hosts of the property will arrange your check-in time with you in advance.



The Neighborhood:

Kralendijk's center comes with a lively boulevard, piers, sailboats and motorboats moored on buoys, and colorful facades. Here you are right between restaurants, bars, boutiques and the departure points for various boat trips, including sunset tours and water taxis to Klein Bonaire. It's ideal if you want everything within walking distance and enjoy strolling the boulevard in the evening. For divers and snorkelers, the Playa area is a convenient base with quick access to west coast sites; for foodies and shoppers, it's the place to be. Expect bustle, convenience and the shortest travel times to the island's main amenities in Kralendijk.



Laguna Serena Apartment is approximately 2 kilometers from Van den Tweel supermarket, 750 meters from Dive Friends Port Bonaire dive center, 1 kilometer from Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach, 2.2 kilometers from the center of Kralendijk and 1.4 kilometers from Sebastian’s Restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: From Laguna Serena Apartment you can drive to Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach in just a few minutes. These two beaches are located along the west coast near the airport and are known for their clear waters and good snorkeling along the coral-rich shoreline. Te Amo Beach offers a pleasant sandy stretch to relax, while Donkey Beach is usually a bit quieter. Bring your snorkel gear, be mindful of the strong sun, and enjoy watching boats pass by after your swim or snorkel session.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Laguna Serena Apartment. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Laguna Serena Apartment is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
