Tres Aguas features one-level living, with easy ramp access to the front door, which is a rare commodity in the Outer Banks! Our cottage perfectly accommodates small multi-generational families. It is perfect for families that need zero-entry and wide doorways for mobility-ease.

The cottage is centrally located in the charming residential town of Southern Shores. You can hear the waves crashing from our screened-in porch and walk to the beach access, which is located just 1.5 blocks away. The NC-12 bike path runs across our driveway so you and guests can walk or bike over to the Currituck Sound access, the Town of Duck, or to the Southern Shores shopping center. Fabulous restaurants and shopping in Duck and Kitty Hawk are a short bike ride or drive away.

Tres Aguas features 4 cozy and thoughtfully-designed bedrooms and 3 full baths. ​​There are 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms with walk-in showers. The vintage kitchen includes everything a family chef needs with stainless steel appliances, air fryer, Instant Pot, and outdoor charcoal grill. The cottage offers all the comforts of home with a bright and peachy feel.

Perched on a half acre lot Tres Aguas OBX is set back from the street. The private, fenced in backyard includes a heated saltwater pool. Tres Aguas OBX is equipped for WFH employees, with high-speed mesh WiFi connectivity with download speeds of 400mbps to handle streaming, gaming and Zooming all at once.
Located on Duck Road (NC-12) between Trout Run and Porpoise Run in the Town of Southern Shores, the Outer Banks first planned residential community. The neighborhood still retains its roots with large half acre lots and post WW2 flat-top homes. With a short 5-minute walk from the beach access points on both streets, you will be close to the action and adventure of Duck and Kitty Hawk. You will also be provided with a parking placards to park at more than a dozen beach and Currituck Sound access points under the purview of the Town of Southern Shores and the Southern Shores Civic Association. Furthermore, enjoy access to tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball, volleyball, and walking and biking trails. Come experience the beauty of the Outer Banks and all it has to offer at Tres Aguas.

Age, Wheelchair Accessibility or Mobility Concerns:
-Tres Aguas does not meet ADA code for residences. However, it has some features that make accessibility or mobility easier. We have provided measurements of certain entrances and rooms to help clarify some of the cottage’s accessibility features. If you have special accessibility, age or mobility needs, please contact us for more information.

Availability:
* The cottage is a weekly rental, Friday to Friday rental, from mid-June to August.
* Tres Aguas has at least a three day minimum in May, part of June, September, and October.

Please read and sign the Vacation Rental Agreement. The following rules apply and are highlighted below. These are strict rules and if broken, the stay will be cancelled and you will be sent home without a refund.

A tax rate of 12.75% will be applied to all rental rates. It is comprised of the 6.75% NC sales tax plus the 6% Dare County occupancy tax.

The refundable security deposit is $400 (except if the booking originated on Airbnb).

No pets allowed.

No smoking of any kind, including vaping.

Maximum number of 8 guests. No parties permitted.

The address is 161 Duck Road, Southern Shores, NC 27949. The house is on the left hand side, and it is the second driveway after you pass the intersection of Duck Road and Porpoise Run.
