Le nom de cette spacieuse maison de trois chambres à coucher et deux salles de bains avec Oceanside, située dans un quartier paisible de Kitty Hawk, n’est que le début de tous les sourires et rires qui suivront! Resting Beach Face est prêt pour la saison 2019 avec des équipements et des fonctionnalités à ajouter chaque jour, pour rendre les prochaines vacances de votre famille inoubliables. Pour le chef du groupe, l'immense cuisine et le profond garde-manger ne manqueront pas de ravir. La maison offre une vue sur l’océan Atlantique depuis la terrasse bien exposée, le porche et le nid de pie, et se trouve à quelques pas de la plage, ainsi que des restaurants et des magasins locaux! Il dispose d'un bain à remous relaxant et d'une grande douche extérieure privée pour protéger la plage de la maison. Avec un parking pouvant accueillir plus de plusieurs voitures, il offre la possibilité à plusieurs familles ou amis de se divertir. Vous voudrez revenir année après année!

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Great location, cute nags head style cottage, short walk to the beach and a small dune to surmount without the need for steps. Comfortable beds, a decently equipped kitchen and a nice pool add up to an ideal vacation spot in the obx. Only drawback was that this house backs up to two restaurants and the dumpsters being picked up at 4 am woke us up every day which ended up not being as restful vacation as we would have preferred.

very nice house

was very nice house with pool... little hard to get to beach because of the sand being so high... but we managed. we cleaned the shower curtain in master of black mold on bottom, but that and outside grill not being clean everything else was good.. we had problem with internet, password on fridge was right one.. the air conditioning was not working good. Its was 80 a few times in house...

Great vacation home with a few caveats

Overall I would definitely recommend this place. We had a great time!! Pros: Great Location! Barely a few mins walk from the beach access. The section of the beach close to the house was also less crowded than other public access. House comes with good amenities. Pool and Hot tub were great and well maintained. Decent sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. 1 bedroom with bunk beds for kids. Large living room for indoor activities. Very pleased with the communication. Had an issue with internet which was handled quickly. Would like to specifically thank Allison for her support. Cons: Would've liked basic necessities to be available. Linens are not provided, which I was only made aware of after booking the place. $199 to rent linens for a week is extremely expensive. We ended up bringing our own linens. Also, each restroom had only 1 roll of TP and no handwash/soap. Not a big deal or a deal-breaker but was kind of annoying and definitely something that should be mentioned in the Description of the listing. Some counters were dusty and triggered my allergies. While it is understandable for a house near the beach, it could've been avoided Bikes and beach gear look a bit worse for wear and may need replacing and bit of upkeep

Great beach house

First of all, this property has 4 bedrooms. When I was booking it, there was a discrepancy on the listing regarding the number of bedrooms. The house was perfect for the 8 of us. The kitchen was well-equipped; there was a closet full of pool and beach accessories; the dining table was a good size; the walk to the beach was quick and easy; the pool was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay.

Pool was wonderful. Plenty close to beach. Nice renters closet full of beach chairs, canopy, corn hole boards, boogie boards etc. Only downside was it wasn't very clean. I had to clean it when we got there. Counters were not wiped down and it wasn't vacuumed very well. No internet for about 4 days. Took 2 phone calls to get it wifi fixed and cable was out entire week. Carolina Shores did reimburse us for no internet or TV without us even asking. Other than that it was good week. I would stay there again. Really nice property. Did I mention the pool was WONDERFUL!

Home away from home

Great experience! All the kitchen appliances and amenities you could ever need. The pool is a great size and set up for the entire family to enjoy themselves, and the multi lights are awesome for night swimming. The hot tub on the main level is very convenient. The beach is a short walk away and easily accessible. OBX never disappoints and Resting Beach Face made it the best!

Great location (walk to beach) and pool/hot tub

We had a great experience and hope to go back next year! House is just few minute walk to the beach. It's important to be on THIS side of the highway. We didn't realize how lucky we were until we got there. There is a very busy road that is hard to even drive across, so I'm glad kids didn't have to walk/bike across it to get to beach. The pool and hot tub really made the trip. After a long day at the beach it was so nice and refreshing to be able to go back to the house to relax in the pool and hot tub. The outdoor cooking area downstairs is very cool with outdoor lighting and hammock. Easy to get to a few local supermarkets and fish shops. Surf board rental was easy and inexpensive right down the block. Rental company was great as well!

Great place to stay in OBX!!

The house is great and provided all the amenities. Kitchen well stocked and House was clean. The pool area is very nice and they really have everything you could want. Our family had a great time!

Unclean & poor customer service

We were the first to rent this season (after the owners) per Carolina shores realty. Upon entry to the house the countertops and tables had handprints on them, food stuck on the bedroom door knob, dirty floors & flowers, dog poop in two places in The pool area in a “no pet allowed rental”and a sticky master bedroom floor - to find it filthy under the bed along with a yellow-filled Aquafina bottle. The realty company did send someone over to clean which was nice; however I had already spent the first night Clorox wiping down everything except the floors and under the bed. The director of housekeeping (Amanda) said she would follow up after her convo with her bosses / owner on what else could be done on top of the cleaning. She never returned my call. I had to call her, one associate said Amanda was there then came back and transferred me to Director of maintenance (Brittany). Brittany said Amanda was there but had to step out & that they sent someone to clean what else would I want. She was short and unhelpful. She told me she’d discuss and get back to me, to which Sue Ann (accounting, partner of the realty co. & VP) said they did everything they could by sending over the cleaning people and the owner said if that was enough I could pack up and leave and take a refund of the days to which we did! You would think they (owner and realtor) Would want a clean rental place upon arrival or show more concern for the uncleanliness, & show some customer service to your renters above and beyond such an unclean rental. We took the refund in days and left! Would not use this realtor again nor stay at this home. The location was convenient to the beach, but overall experience with realtor, owner and home was below poor!
