If you love the town of Duck and you're looking for a cozy cottage, you lucked out by stumbling upon 'Just Ducky'! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath beach cottage is just a couple hundred feet from the ocean in Sound Sea Village. It's tucked away on a private gravel road, away from the Duck Road traffic. Your kids and pup (yes, Just Ducky is dog-friendly!) can play in the spacious backyard, while you and the other adults lounge your cares away on the porch swing and covered deck. Grab your beach gear and make the short walk to the pristine, unpolluted Duck beach for a fun-filled day of sand and surf. Afterward, rinse off in the outdoor shower and let the fun continue with a cutthroat game of cornhole. Later, sear your favorite seafood options on the gas grill! The mornings here are unmatched from the uncovered crow's nest on the top deck. Smile as you see the sliver of ocean light, glistening from the sunrise over the Atlantic!

The bottom level of this home has covered parking and a storage shed with an extra fridge located at the back of the carport -- perfect for storing your extra beach beverages and snacks! As you enter the main level, you'll be greeted by bright and beachy decor, with tastefully decorated art and warm, yellow-painted walls. The living room has plenty of seating for 7 or 8, so no one will be excluded from gathering around the large HD TV, with tons of viewing options from Spectrum cable. The dining room has a beautiful glass table -- perfect for incredible Duck meals and memories! The spacious kitchen has brilliant white cabinets with matching appliances and a large island. You'll have all the space you need for preparing your favorite dishes!

The hall bathroom has a shower/tub combo, suitable for everyone's bathing preferences. The first twin room with two twin beds can be found on the right side of the hallway, and the other is located at the end, with two more twin beds, sleeping 4 total. Each of these rooms has a Roku smart TV, so your guests can keep up with their favorite streaming shows! The master bedroom is the last door on the left. It holds a queen bed, that comfortably sleeps 2, and another smart TV. You'll find the private master bathroom with a shower connected to the master bedroom. And if have up to 8 in your group, don't fret! The sofa in the living room pulls out to a 2-person sleeper!

Duck, NC: The OBX Hub for Water Sports, Shopping, and Dining
The small town of Duck has quite a large list of things to do! Water sports are in high demand here and are very accessible from the Currituck Sound! The three main businesses of Nor' Banks, Kitty Hawk Kites, and Duck Parasail sell equipment and tours for a variety of water sports, including jet-skiing, sailing, parasailing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and more. When it's a nice day in Duck, out on the water is where you want to be!

But what are you supposed to do if you're vacationing in Duck and it rains? This small, local OBX town has you covered with a variety of dining and shopping options! You can try a famous “Chef's Board” from Chef Wes Stepp in his one-of-kind fine dining experience at NC Coast Bar & Grill. For a sweet treat, don't forget to stop in Duck Donuts -- an Outer Banks must-try with multiple locations, but the name comes from the original location in Duck!

Check out the half-mile strip of independently-owned Duck boutiques! You won't find any chains here, but you'll stumble across some of the coolest, unique styles and designs of the Outer Banks. Just make sure to let your jealous friends know they can only be found in Duck, before they spend hours on a fruitless Google search for your one-of-a-kind treasures! Some can't-miss shops include Carilpoha Bamboo, a Caribbean-style fabric store with threads made from bamboo, and Carolina Moon, a beautiful vintage clothing and jewelry shop.
