« A beautiful modernized old weavers cottage. Located in a small pictureistic (sp?) village. Very handy for our travels to the various golf courses we played. Our host Jackie was very accommodating and even arranged for us to show up a day earlier than planned because of an airline foul up. Would definitely stay there again if another golf holiday planned for St Andrews area. »

« This is a very nice property ideal for a large family or maybe 3 couples. Three fishermen cottages from the mid-1700s have been converted to make this spectacular house with incredible views over the Firth of Forth. It has been tastefully renovated and is well equipped. We were there with 7 people, two children 4 & 7, one young adult, and two couples. It worked very well for us. The only slightly negative thing I had to say was the loft room has a toilet but no shower and the kitchen area was...

« Lovely property in a great location for exploring the area. The layout with the separate bedroom wings was excellent. Really well equipped and the dogs loved the enclosed garden. The coastal path within 10 minutes walk was a great asset and the walks in both directions was fabulous. »

« We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Westwood Cottage, Gillian & Michael Bairstow & Scotland!Our 10 days in Scotland were fabulous! Lots to see in the surrounding area & close to bus routes but a car is probably best - if you can adjust to the "Circles" & oncoming traffic! (We did make it.) Returning from our adventures to Westwood Cottage was like coming home for more fun or just relaxing. The beds are so comfortable, we were refreshed & ready to start again each day. « The cottage location was perfect the size worked well. The yard and sun room were great. Everything was clean and well maintained. A lovely cottage for a family vacation. To be excellent I would recommend that the amenities could be improved upon. There was a small tv in corner of living room this could use an update. Bathroom would benefit from starter kit of soap and small shampoo for guests for their first day. Since housekeeping is coming between guests, we should not have to strip beds. »
