The Workers Cottage was originally part of The Queen's Sandringham Estate. We spent 1 year renovating the cottage into a 3-bedroom luxury holiday home.

The garden is designed as part of the living space. Its various nooks can be used all year round, whether luxuriating under bubbles in the alfresco tub, sluicing off beach sand under a hot shower, cooking up a feast in the outdoor kitchen or listening to early morning birdsong beneath the boughs of the apple tree. Smaller visitors will love racing around the lawn and getting their hands dirty in a mini mud kitchen. Inside, the 19thC double-fronted cottage is both cosy and exquisitely decorated — a sociable kitchen, double-aspect sitting room, and 3 lovely bedrooms decorated in chalky colours and natural textures.

Just 15 minutes by car from Brancaster Beach (popular with kite surfers), this is the perfect launchpad for North Norfolk’s fashionable seaside towns and sandy beaches, but if you’d rather stay local there’s plenty on the doorstep. The picturesque village is just 2 minutes away on foot, and wildlife from the neighbouring Sandringham Estate can be glimpsed in the nearby fields — pheasants, hares, deer and owls.
