The Space: This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is perfect for group getaways for any time of the year! Located minutes from Tahoe’s beaches and slopes, you are in a prime location to enjoy it all. Unwind after a fun-filled day at the home where you will find an open and social layout, 2 living rooms, an upper-floor balcony, radiant floor heating, and a fenced backyard offering plenty of room for your group to spread out.
As you enter the front door of the home you will come to a split entryway where you can either head to the upper or lower floor. Make your way up the few steps to the main living space where a bright and open kitchen/dining/living greets you. This space boasts high ceilings and windows all around filling the area with natural light. The inviting living room is the perfect spot to relax and connect with loved ones with ample seating for the entire group. Outfitted with a plush couch, loveseat, and recliner, settle into the comfortable furnishings while you warm up by the gas fireplace. The stone accent wall surrounding the fireplace is an eye-catching feature in the room! A mounted TV and surround sound speakers provide all you need for movie nights at home for those nights you want to unwind after exploring. Or, step out the sliding glass doors to the upper deck and take in the fresh Tahoe area and views of the surrounding area.
Opposite the living room is the kitchen and dining area making it easy to stay connected to your group while in this area. In the kitchen, you will find ample cabinet and counter space, like new stainless steel appliances, and all the basic cookware to whip up some delicious meals at home easily. The kitchen boasts granite countertops and a spacious kitchen bar with four bar stools making it a great spot to grab a snack or relax while keeping the chef company. Just steps away you will find the dining area with a table with seating for 6, with windows surrounding the space you can dine with a view! The main living area features ceiling fans keeping the area nice and cool on warm summer days.
A hallway leading off the main living space takes you to a powder room and the master bedroom. A bright and inviting space, the upper-level master bedroom boasts a king-size bed in a log bed frame with complimentary furniture that includes nightstands, a large wooden chest for storage, and a dresser. A desk makes for a quiet workspace for those needing to keep up with any remote work, and a mounted TV can be viewed from the bed. The room is filled with natural light from soaring windows overlooking the trees and features warm details such as painted walls and plush carpeting. Adding to the comfort of the bedroom is the spacious en suite master bathroom. Complete with a double-sink vanity, a jacuzzi bathtub, a spacious shower, access to the walk-in closet, and a separate room with the toilet, comfortably freshen up before tucking in for the night.
Make your way downstairs where a cozy second living room greets you. This space is perfect for quiet movie nights on the flat-screen TV or hanging out with your group! The room features comfortable seating with a plush oversized queen sofa bed and 2 chairs and includes access to the attached garage. The downstairs full bathroom is situated just off the living room and is well-set up for sharing with ample cabinet and storage space. The Neighborhood: A charming home tucked among the trees mere minutes from King’s Beach, you will be in an unbeatable location to enjoy all Tahoe has to offer! Located just over half a mile from Secline Beach you can easily walk down to this pet-friendly beach and enjoy the volleyball courts and BBQ areas. Or head over to King’s Beach a half-mile from the home and spend the day on the big sandy beaches where you will find every variety of watercraft available to rent for some water fun! This funky little beach town area has plenty of entertainment and dining options for you to enjoy with a wide variety of restaurants to dine at, cute boutiques, a farmer's market for shopping, and free concerts that happen in the summer. If there is a golfer in your group they will love the fact that the home is only a two-minute drive away from the Brockway Golf Club course. In the winter the golf course is open for XC skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, and dog walking. You are also under 10 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort with the bonus that the house's location will keep you away from the ski traffic through Kings Beach. If you are looking for XC trails you are a 6-minute drive to the North Tahoe Regional Park, or if you are feeling extra adventurous you can access their trail system from Tiger Ave which is about a mile from the house. This same trail system is great for hiking and biking in the summer. With its easy access to town, ski resorts, golfing, and the lake, this cabin is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year.
Getting Around: The home is within a 6-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop HWY 28 a Bear St which runs every hour. Or make the short (under half a mile!) drive or walk down to King's Beach where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 and 28 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas around Tahoe City.

If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.

Nice Home, Great Location
This is a really nice home in an absolutely fantastic location. It's an flat easy walk just 5 blocks to the beach, so there was no fighting or paying for parking, even on the busy weekend. The location made it worth the stay all on it's own.
The house itself was also very nice and reasonably well stocked for a rental. There were plenty of bath towels (no beach towels) and the kitchen had plenty of the standard items we needed to cook and eat during the week. The house is spacious and worked well for our group of 7.
We thought two largest beds were much too soft for our liking. They both had a thick layer of foam in addition to the mattress that I think some people would probably like, but all of our adults thought they were far too soft as we sunk significantly when laying down. Probably a personal preference, but something to consider if you need a supportive mattress.
We did have a couple of maintenance issues, and although there was some confusion about who we needed to talk to for various things, we did eventually get the support we needed and the critical item was addressed quickly.
As noted in listing, the house does not have AC, so the upstairs got very hot in the afternoon heat of our July stay (82+ inside). We opened all the windows after the heat broke to cool the house in the evening, but most of the windows had no screens, so a number of moths and other bugs flew into the house while the windows were open.
Overall, would recommend and stay here again.
