The Mountainside House: mountain views, indoor hot tub and room for everyone

Watch Killington Mountain through the tall great-room windows, gather beside the stone fireplace, or take a soak beneath the timber ceiling of the indoor hot tub room. The Mountainside House has five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms across 10,000 square feet, with a full sleeper sofa in a separate office. The maximum occupancy is 16 guests. The home sits on the High Ridge Ski Trail, with conditions-dependent ski-back access and a private shuttle to the lifts.

The indoor hot tub sits beneath a timber ceiling in its own window-lined room. There is also a sauna and a separate exercise room. Hot-tub use is included for peak ski-season weekends from late December to mid-March; an optional $195 setup fee applies at other times.

Mountain views from the great room and primary suite bring the slopes into view while you relax indoors. Four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms; the fifth has semi-private bathroom access. Separate living areas give guests room to read, play games or spend time together.

Meals and evenings at home
The kitchen has broad counters, an island and breakfast-bar seating, with dining areas nearby and a gas-connected grill on the deck. Mountain views continue in the primary bedroom, where a sitting area faces the windows. Cookware is provided for meals at home. High-speed Wi-Fi, eight flat-panel HDTVs and premium cable are available throughout the house.

Shuttle Service & Ski Access
Private shuttle service serves Snowshed, Rams Head and K1 Lodges on ski days starting Christmas Week. Check the current timetable before planning your departures. Ski-back access via the High Ridge Trail depends on snow, trail openings and resort operations.

Additional Features
The Mountainside House also includes a washer & dryer wing, air conditioning in all five bedrooms, and fans available throughout the home. The property is pet-friendly (fee applies), so you can bring your furry friends along for the adventure.

Space for your group's plans
Downstairs, the lounge has a large sectional and a bar area, while the game room has pool and foosball tables. The wood-paneled office provides a quieter setting for reading or catching up on work. You can share the house without everyone having to follow the same schedule.

• Shuttle Service / Ski On Ski Off: Our private shuttle runs three trips in the morning from the house to the lifts and two trips in the afternoon from the lifts back to the house during ski days, starting with Christmas Week reservations. When snow, trail openings and resort operations allow, guests can ski home via the High Ridge Trail from Snowshed. Check current conditions before relying on ski-back access.
• Rental Agreement: Guests must e-sign and return our written rental agreement.
• Hot Tub: The hot tub is included for peak ski season weekends (late December to mid-March). For all other periods, there is an optional $195 setup fee. You understand that use of the hot tub is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the hot tub. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the hot tub, and hold owner and property manager harmless.
• Guest Occupancy: Do not exceed the agreed guest occupancy. Overoccupancy will result in immediate eviction and fines.
• Minimum Rental Age: Guests must be 25 years or older to rent this property.
• Shoes: Please do not wear shoes inside the house.
• Check-in and check-out: Your smart lock code will appear in your Boarding Pass two hours before check-in. While we offer some flexibility with check-in and check-out times depending on other bookings, guaranteed early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee.
• Smoking Policy: The entire home is non-smoking, including e-cigarettes. Smoking is only permitted outdoors. A $750 fine will be charged for smoking inside the house.
• Cameras: For safety and security, there are exterior cameras on the property capable of recording at all times. There are no cameras in any living areas.
• Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. The property may use Minut, a smart home device that monitors noise levels to address disturbances without disrupting your stay. Minut is 100% privacy compliant and required for this property. Please reach out if you have questions.
• Fireworks: Fireworks are not permitted at this property.
• Parties/Events: Parties and events are allowed with event fee. Please contact us in advance.
• Pets: This property is pet friendly with the payment of our non-refundable pet fee per dog.
• Winter Weather: Winter weather can be unpredictable. We do not offer refunds due to weather or ski trail conditions and recommend purchasing travel insurance for unforeseen events. All-wheel drive and winter tires are strongly recommended.
