Summary:
Welcome to The James Inn. Make yourself at home in this cozy and functional 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our home is located in West Killeen, just minutes from Fort Hood and with easy highway access to Killeen's main shops and restaurants. The James Inn is the perfect "home away from home" for up to 7 guests.
The Space:
This cozy, one-story house features an open concept living room dining room, a fully stocked kitchen, and laundry room off the garage. The kitchen includes full-sized appliances, dish ware, silverware and cook ware. The master bedroom features a king sized bed, the second bedroom features a queen sized bed, and the third bedroom includes two twin-sized beds. Both bathrooms include a tub/shower combo, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, makeup remover wipes, and fresh linens for the whole crew. Our home is Pet Friendly, with a fully fenced-in backyard where you will find a propane grill and outdoor seating.
Guest Access:
Guests have complete and exclusive access to the house during your stay, with the exception of one locked closet. Guests will access the house using a Yale smart lock, located on the front door. Your unique and time sensitive door code will be provided after confirmation and before arrival. The driveway offers enough room for four vehicles, with room for two vehicles in the garage. There is room for additional parking on the street to the side of the house, but it is limited to availability.
The Neighborhood:
The James Inn is located on a quiet street of houses within an established single family neighborhood. There is a shopping center and many restaurants located close by. This neighborhood is a family-friendly area with many people with young children, so we do not allow any parties and ask that the noise level is kept to a minimum after 9:00 pm.
Getting Around:
A personal vehicle is preferred, though the availability of Lyft and Uber is always increasing. This home is located in the perfect place, making it easy to travel around Killeen and Fort Hood by car.
Other Things to Note:
In order to continue to offer the earliest possible check-ins and latest possible checkouts, we ask all guests to give our cleaners a head start by completing the following tasks upon departure:
1. Make sure all garbage is in a bin or wastebasket.
2. Place all used towels in the washing machine and start the load
3. Load and start dishwasher or hand-wash used dishes with available supplies.
These simple tasks significantly help our staff, and we appreciate your cooperation.
Interaction with Guests:
Check-in is self-guided, and you will let yourself in with a unique door code.
We strive to make ourselves promptly available to answer questions or make accommodations. We’re only a message away!
Check-ins later than 9PM should be coordinated with the host prior to arrival. This helps to ensure we are available in the event of any issues. Failure to coordinate with the host for arrival later than 9 pm may result in assistance not being available until the following morning. No refunds for failure to coordinate a late check-in.
