« We had a great time in Kinvarra! Proximity to the Aran Islands, Cliffs of Mohr, etc. was great and we enjoyed the local pubs and music. The accommodations were great, clean and well stocked. We were a little put off by the amount of traffic and related noise, at times it was hard to even cross the street and the bedrooms that faced the road were noisy. Toni was very responsive and gave us lots of information on things to do and see. Overall we enjoyed the town and had a great time. »

The views of the water, back garden, and lounging on the couch just looking at the walls around us were priceless. « The house was very clean except for the carpets. There was a lot of room for our group. The rooms were large and adequately furnished. The kitchen utensils and cookware was a bit sparse. The rent was very reasonable, but I would rather pay a bit more and not have to “rent” towels or supply additional toilet paper or buy dish soap. »

« The kitchen was ill-equipped- no cheese grater- and the furniture had strips of veneer hanging off which needed to be glued back on. The beds were hard, and none of the strip lights above the basins worked, making shaving difficult. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was poor. However it was a pleasant enough cottage apart from the niggles. »

« Nous avons été accueillis très cordialement par James, le propriétaire. Le logement est propre, simple et bien agencé : Grande cuisine/salon/salle à manger + chambre + salle de bain/WC. L'endroit est très calme, une impasse en campagne, arrivant au bord d'un lac. La position centrale de ce gîte nous a permis de visiter plusieurs régions d'Irlande, dont le Connemara, (fabuleux). »

« I have mixed feelings about this stay. It is hard not to compare it to other cottages I've stayed in while in Ireland at the same price point. Where there is a basic welcoming basket with bread, eggs, salt and pepper. There is nothing of the sort here. There were a lot of rules posted around that seemed a bit much compared to the condition of the cottage. The beds were not comfortable, but the bedding looked newer.
