Welcome to Anini Mauka, this adorable Hawaiian house located just up the road from the pristine beach of Anini Beach, you'll find you have everything you need in this perfect Kauai vacation home.

As a great access point to all the fun activities on Kauai, Anini Mauka is the perfect place for friends and family to gather. Tucked in amongst a jungle of tropical landscaping, this home feels like a sanctuary.

Anini Mauka provides you great access to Anini and Kalihiwai beaches that are minutes away. Drive down the road and be at the back of Kalihiwai Bay, where you can play with your family and kids in the river, paddle board to the waterfall and surf all day long. You can also drive a couple of minutes to Anini beach, great for snorkeling, swimming and shell picking.

The home is a tropical paradise with modern island style furniture, open floor plan, and cool breezes, overhead ceiling fans. Upgraded touches throughout. The main living room has a large A/C unit that keeps the entire home nice and cool, and the second living room has a portable AC for added comfort.

All one level and a single story home, this home is great home base to unwind in after a long day of adventure. The master bedroom includes a King bed and attached full bath (shower). The two guest rooms in the main area of the home boasts Queen beds. The first guest bedroom in the main area had its own magnificent bathroom with dual sinks, sweeping vanity area and an expansive shower with dual shower heads. The second guest bedroom, opens up to another spacious living area, an AC bonus room that includes comfortable furniture, a small kitchen, full bathroom, extra washer and dryer, and leads out to a small covered lanai.

Enjoy outdoor living spaces with 2 covered lanai. The first lanai is screened in, for added comfort and boasts a dining table and 2 comfortable chairs. Lay out in the lawn. in the lush tropical backyard reading a book and soaking up some rays, or enjoy a nice morning coffee on the enclosed screened in lanai.

Fully equipped, this rental has many amenities to offer, a stocked kitchen with all the cookware and gadgets needed for a Hawaiian Meal, Beach Gear, Beach Towels, Plush Bedding and linens, 2 outdoor living spaces, 2 living rooms and much more!

What a wonderful property and rental experience. The house was absolutely amazing and was so inviting, and the management team made everything a breeze from start to finish. The home was immaculately clean, beautiful, and had been set up for us to make us feel so comfortable and welcome (lights on, Hawaiian music playing, ceiling fans on, and A/C set perfectly). The house was stocked and organized and had every ammenity we could ever need or envision. The kitchen was stocked with everything you can imagine, each bedroom had fans, dressers, loads of hangers, etc. There were 2 washers and dryers, ironing boards and irons, cleaning supplies, and more. We were able to park in the garage and had the use of all the essential beach items we could hope for, including towels, chairs, boogie boards, coolers, umbrellas, etc. There were even some kids' beach toys (we didn't need those, but it was great to see they were available for families). I can't say enough great things about this property and all the details both large and small that were in place (like fresh flowers on the dining room table). Our stay and this home were just absolutely incredible. It FAR exceeded our expectations, and the location was near one of the best beaches on Kauai. 10 stars out of 5. THANK YOU for such a great stay!!!!

Paradise

Great location in between Hanalei and Kilauea. Well appointed home that was super comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed the large kitchen and screened in porch. Also very quiet and dark. Would definitely come back.

The best house

This property was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay. I was worried that we would have to rent items to take to the beach but the garage had it all! All the greenery around the house adds the best touch to the house. It’s super nice to wake up and see why the island is called the garden island. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, quiet island retreat

The house is in a nice, quiet location between Princeville and Kilauea, close to Anini Beach. It is pretty well equipped with all the necessary kitchen gear. The place fit our group of six ( 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 small children) perfectly, with 3 bedrooms and a bonus room for the baby to sleep in. Our stay got off to rocky start as we were given the wrong access code to the lockbox. We called the property manager contact number but no one picked up or returned our multiple messages. We spent an anxious hour, with a three-year old and 9-month old, wondering what we were going to do. We finally called the number from which the erroneous text originated and someone was able to call us back with the correct code. While the property is in good condition overall, the appliances are old and in need of replacement. The dishwasher in particular was a problem. It doesn’t clean well and is very inefficient (3-4 hr cycle). We ran a load three times before decided that the “Hi-temp” cycle was the only way to get the soap pod to dissolve. Even that didn’t work every time and it still left a big lump of soap in the dispenser. The only other issue we had was the kitchen faucet handle. It was very loose and at one point fell off. This needs to be fixed!While none of the above problems ruined our trip they certainly detracted from our experience and overall impression of the property.

Nice house, with excellent management, OK location

Well equipped, very clean, tastefully appointed house with helpful management. "Close" is a relative term. You need to drive to the beach. It is too far to really walk and a steep hilly road on the return. The tropical jungle plants surround the house and direct sun is missing most of the day. We were there in a major storm and cold front. There is no heat source. If it were hot then they have a massive air conditioner. Too bad, that they did not invest in a reversible heat pump to counter the days with 60 degrees inside and your bare feet sticking to the freezing floor.

Amazing North Shore Location

We loved the house. Perfect spot on the north shore right between Kiluea and Princeville. Short drive to maybe the best kids beach on the island, close to dining and convenience stores etc. Was clean plenty of towels and bedding. Was very private. If you are more into hawaiian life than staying on a resort this place was amazing. They also had anything you'd need to go to the beach. The entire island lost power while we were there and they had pleny of candles and flashlights. Best spot in the house was the entirely covered lanai. We'd love to stay here again.

Amazing Place

The house was more than accommodating for 7 of us. The kitchen was equipped with EVERYTHING! the living room has a big enough sofa for everyone to sit comfortably, screened patio was an added extra, much needed, due to the mosquitos. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Everything needed for the beach was there. The only issues was the ceiling vent to draw hot air out wasn't working, but fans were provided. Hotter inside than outside some nights. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying again

Kauai paradise

This home was amazing. We traveled with our 3 teen boys and it was perfect, exactly as listed. So spacious and beautiful. The quiet neighborhood was awesome. The citrus in the yard is some of the best and oh so juicy!!! Very well stocked kitchen with just about anything you could need. The supplies for the beach were great. Chairs, umbrellas, cooler, boogie boards, noodles, beach towels…... We absolutely loved this place. Will definitely be back. Kauai is becoming a yearly tradition for our family and this place was the best yet.

Wonderful home in Kauai

This home is in a quiet neighborhood near Anini beach (3 minutes drive) that makes you feel like a local. Everyone living around you is a local and it's a great base to head to Kilauea, Hanalei, Kapa'a, or anywhere you'd like to go, with so many local and hidden gems worth exploring. The living/dining room is sizable and allowed our whole family to be comfortable. And the host was great communicating with any questions that came up or anything we needed. Overall I was very happy with the stay.

Northern Beach Paradise

We spent over a week at this property and would gladly return. The home is open, clean and simply furnished. It's ideal for families or groups and is well-stocked with games, beach gear and two beautiful porches, one large screened and one open to the morning sun. The linens were excellent and sleeping options good with the master bedroom having the best view and airflow due to many windows. Ceiling fans and standing fans made the other bedrooms very comfortable. Proximity to beaches such as Anini and Kalihiwai were the reason for our stay and are within 10 minutes by car. The street near the home is well-traveled, roosters around 4am are normal and neighbors are close but quiet hours between 9pm and 6am seemed to be universally observed. If you're extra noise sensitive, earplugs for sleeping would be helpful. Overall, this is a perfect location and a very comfortable home. We loved our stay here.

The Best Residence for Touring Friends

The Blue Anini is on Kalihiwai Road, with beaches in walking distance and amenities just up the highway at Princeville. We were a party of 3 couples with a huge SUV. We'd wake, go to the yard and pick oranges, prep breakfast and clean up then get out the door and pile into the SUV. Each couple had a room and two couples shared a bath, but it was convenient with no issues. the house is comfortable with a huge sofa and TV where we watched Superbowl LVI 56. The house has a whole house fan that cools in the summer. That's a big plus. The kitchen is large with plenty of space and a large island with an electric stovetop. Outlets are everywhere. A screened porch/lanai is at the side of the house. The beds are comfortable queen sized, and the linen is clean. I was surprised at how well maintained the house was, with wooden floors and very clean, not even a gekko in sight. This is a very well situated rental property on the north shore. For parties of six it is remarkably spacious. Grab it if you can!
